Your go-to closer?

Truth is there are plenty of closers, people just feel more comfortable with the starter because they can. I’m not going to say I haven’t used a starter in relief, but it’s either because my starter got rocked early or extra innings.

Dudes with heat ( preferably sinker or cuter) and a wicked slider.... all you need. Changeup or curve for dirt pitches is good too, but they hang too often regardless of pitch feedback

RHP: Dennis Eckersley or Rollie Fingers
LHP: Aroldis Chapman or Billy Wagner -
Lefties- Wagner
Righties- DibbleDibble is absolutely filthy

Hey now. I didn’t make the game. I blast almost everybody out of the pen. Chapman or Amir Garrett might be the best to use. Everybody else is just waiting to get mashed on. Good luck making it to the 9th anyway.

I keep him as a long reliever when I need to pull the starter early or if I run out of pinch hitters.
As for the closer, I go Chapman or Eckersley, but just got Rollie today who feels like another Eck
Chapman is the only reliever I have consistent troubles against, I’ve never been able to hit him
Because you can't see his pitches. After facing that so many times, I bought him so I could be on the other end of it.
Are you playing on a TV because I find him fairly easy to read
Yes, on game mode which helps. That's the best I can do lol

Don't know what the top players use in the upper divisions, but Dibble and Fingers are lights out for me. People have to guess FB to hit that 102 from Dibble that his other pitches just embarrass people. And all 4 of Fingers pitches will get you out if you dont know its coming.
But in my opinion pitching has always been about the user. Any card is hittable if you dont know how to pitch to your opponent.

Yeah, I think going to a starter out of the pen when things go to extras is ok.
