Now, This is only an idea mind you, but it seems as though they are wanting to follow a specific card type for each stage of TA. I think that we can all assume stage 4 is set aside for the finest series cards, I wont discuss that much.

So stage 3 is bound to have a specific card series, and I think something along the lines of "Hometown Hero" would be fitting. The criteria would include someone that accomplished amazing feats for their specific team, or someone that wore the jersey for the entirety of their career and had success. Something similar to these.

Ill throw out some of my guesses as to what cards I could see this being, but I would love to hear everyone else's thoughts as well. I know SDS Does not currently have a version of some of these cards in the game, but you never know which new legends could be introduced!! LOL

I also tried to exclude anyone who may already have a high diamond card. I am also not a huge expert of each and every baseball team so please forgive me if I forgot someone from your team and offended you.

Orioles: Cal Ripken Jr.; Brooks Robinson; Jim Palmer

Red Sox: David Ortiz; Ted Williams; Wade Boggs; Dustin Pedroia

Yankees: Mariano Rivera; Derek Jeter; Lou Gehrig; Babe Ruth

Rays: Carl Crawford; David Price, Evan Longoria

Blue Jays: Josh Donaldson; Roberto Alomar; Jose Bautista

Astros: Lance Berkman; Jeff Bagwell; Mike Scott

Rangers: Adrian Beltre; Nolan Ryan; Ivan Rodriguez; Ian Kinsler

Mariners: Edgar Martinez; Ken Griffey Jr; Felix Hernandez; Alex Rodriguez; Randy Johnson; Brett Boone; Ichiro

    A's: Rickey Henderson; Lefty Grove

Braves: Hank Aaron; Eddie Mathews; Warren Spahn; Phil Niekro; Greg Maddux; Joe Torre; Andruw Jones

    Brewers: Robin Yount; Ryan Braun; Paul Molitor; Prince Fielder;

Reds: Johnny Bench; Pete Rose; Joey Votto; Frank Robinson; George Foster

Rockies: Nolan Arenado; Larry Walker; Troy Tulowitzki; Matt Holliday; Andres Galarraga; Ubaldo Jimenez

The hill I will die on is that there needs to be a Diamond Card for Ron Santo, he was great during the deadball era and was screwed out of the hall of fame

Ron Santo played in the early 1900s? That was the deadball ERA. Guys hitting 30 homers per year is hardly the deadball ERA

I’m thinking the idea is correct but it will be all star related. Finest may be the last but it could be mr October type players. They could miss out on some pack sales for finest if they made them in the TA. Unless they made it “2nd tier “ finest and that would be a disappointment to me. So the last one is Cooperstown SS type cards is my official guess.

You named virtually every single noteworthy Mariner, so I'm cool with this! Would love an A-Rod SS and Randy, as otherwise SS and SP are both pretty trash outside of Felix.

Braun: “Oh [censored] they caught me taking steroids. What ever will I do?”

    remembers that he’s Jewish

Braun: “I’m innocent! They only said I’m guilty because I’m Jewish!”

Everybody with a brain: “Stfu dirty cheater”

It was more the "this blue collar worker framed me" that really cemented his dickface status.

Isn’t a hometown hero someone from that town or state? Like Joe Mauer? I like your idea. Just misleading title. One card for each state could be fun. Maybe not. There’s be some real stretches for some states.
