I was getting to the point where I was getting absurdly frustrated with the game to the point I wanted to stop playing. My only goal in the game was Mickey Mantle at that point but still didn't want to play.
Then I stopped caring and started playing because its Baseball. Immediately went back to enjoying the game.
Idk how anyone can enjoy this product. Seriously one of the worst video games I've ever played.
Oh look, fastball right down the [censored] middle. I don't even move the pci, get "good" timing, and popup result? The outcome is entirely generated by the cpu.

Edit: Just won a couple BR games in a row, I hit EVERYTHING. Even balls I shouldn't have. Then played a game where good times fastballs down the middle were popped out. NOTHING was a hit even when I squared up. Meanwhile my opponent was smashing okay-just early's and replaying the HR. Garbage product.
I'm confused. 3 hours ago you said you were done playing. Then now you just stated that you just finished a few BR games.

Ummm. You're supposed to throw a round ball to the other player in hopes that he doesn't hit it. However, the ironic part is that on his end, he's supposed to hit what you throw. It's MAGIC!
So how do you explain what I said in the original post though? Are you saying this is a skill based game? If so, how?

You know -- the part where you completely lied about "okay-okay" results? Do you remember that part? I'll use the most basic argument, if it was determined by the cpu then the same people wouldn't be top players every year. If you don't enjoy the game thats fine man, we aren't gonna convince you to but you're not gonna convince those of us that do enjoy it to stop playing either.
It's not hard to when you spend 5 grand on the game and play it like you have no life outside the game.

I didn't lie about feedback. I made a mistake, doesn't change the facts. One game every garbage contact is a hit in the gap or HR, then next every good-good or perfect perfect is an out. Judging from the feedback I see on this forum, many people agree.
Because we are already 60 posts deep. Why not go on. But why should I believe you about your feedback mistake when you already lied about playing again.

No, the problem is you completely fabricated results to justify a loss. You lost a game and instead of being a man about it, you came here to whine about how your opponent lucked out and you got screwed. But the truth is that you didn’t actually record the feedback of each at bat. You just “felt” like your perfect-perfect were outs and you “felt” like your opponent’s HR was an okay-okay. That’s just embarrassing.
