How to beat the cheaters

I smell a quick pitcher.
I was thinking the same thing. It would not surprise me at all to learn that after a few instances of quick pitching, various opponents put a stop to it via holding R2 until their batter was set, etc.

Another thread of that 12 year old clown?

Snitches get stiches
You posted this 10 days ago. I guess you’re a “snitch.”

Last night I played my 9th H2H game ever. It was a BR game where the screen froze while I was trying to bring in a relief pitcher after my starter got tossed because my opponent kept causing the game to jot allow me to pitch the ball.
I ended up hitting a few batters because of this.
Anyway. I assume the game got thrown into a freeze off.
Since I had a chance to cone back, I decided to wait and see if it would rectify itself. While waiting for this; my opponent decided to send me 53, yes 53 I didn't type that wrong, messages via my console.
They ranged from vulgar messages calling out my supposed sexuality, to my parents' supposed sexuality, to my mentality, and to 28 straight messages, within a 3 minute timeframe, just saying 'Quit'.
Is this what online play is like with this game?
If so, no wonder online play gets a bad rap
I don't know if I should feel bad that you don't understand sarcasm or that you actually had the time and effort to stalk my past posts

The guy who said “snitches get stitches” in response to a perfectly legitimate post says I’m a “stalker?” LOL.

Was my opponent cheating?
Yes.
If it's a in-game mechanic, it cannot be classified as cheating. The opponent is using an in-game mechanic.
It's scummy, and players who do that are prob some of the most annoying players in the game, but it's not cheating. If holding R2 gave you an XP boost that [censored] would have been patched weeks ago.

Hahaha, perfectly legitimate post. Now that is funny stuff.

So I guess pressing L2 to replay a HR is “cheating” as well? Or taking a lead? Or stepping off of the mound? Or...
Man, dudes team “finally” wins a WS (I’m sure he is a bandwagon fan) and now thinks everyone owes him something.
I bet he’s the life of the party...

If they R2 me, I sometimes respond by waiting a long time before starting my windup on every pitch for the rest of the inning.
Good strategy, but also sad that it's come to that for honest players like us. SDS could probably fix the online game in a few hours by making the above common sense changes and most importantly, banning the cheaters. You could start with a one-week ban and then if they're caught cheating again, a permanent ban.
Based on the HOME RUN banner fiasco of 2020 I strongly doubt they could fix this in a few hours
You do know that if you press “options” to pause the game, then go back into the game, the Homerun banner goes away. Not really complaint worthy.
Just sayin’...

Literally attended the first home game in Nats history in 2005. I was also at the longest playoff game ever, Giants-Nats, in 2014. You probably didn’t become a Giants fan until later that October.

OP expressed their stance. No need to dog pile.
