MLB The Show 20 Cheating Scandal

I have in other threads and also laid out a 10-step plan to fix the online game that I emailed to the developers. Forum fanboys are shouting it down since they’re most likely the cheaters.
-
Here is the plan I sent to SDS:
- Stop assigning wins and losses in the event of a server freeze.
- Fix lagging that is resulting in bad umpire calls and game-changing plays.
- Allow players a limited number of chances to leave an online game before a pitch is thrown to prevent mismatches.
- Do not allow starting pitchers to be used as relievers or, at the very least, severely limit their stamina.
- Disable the "hold R2" feature after the first inning a given pitcher is in the game.
- Make bunt defense better to prevent online abuse of bunting.
- Limit the number of pauses during a game, not just pause time.
- Do not allow friendly quit requests in the last 10 seconds of a player's pause time.
- Investigate reports of cheating and ban/strip wins from those who are caught doing so.
- Players who received losses as a result of proven cheating should also have those losses removed from their record.
-
I think it's more of the people around these parts want a level of proof to substantiate claims. I didn't go all the way through your other thread, but based on the 15~ posts I saw, it was all claims, with no evidence. Usually that doesn't fly around these parts, since some people have, in the past, made claims that were disproven with enough snooping around
-
Um no I literally sent a screen shot to SDS. They haven’t responded. If anyone denies there is widespread glitches and cheating they are like a cheater themself.
-
Post it here. All you do is cry foul like a spoiled little child whining that you got the loss. If anyone says anything to you, they are cheaters but you again, don't say why. Just a pathetic broken record at this point. No wonder no one takes you seriously and just laughs at your garbage complaining with no proof. I'll wait for the usual "You're a fanboy" or "You must be one of the cheaters" replies with nothing to back it up
-
People already explained to you what happens when the game freezes and why you were confused.

He was in a freeze off and quit, he's upset he took the L.

Nope, not confused at all. Neither are the hundreds of other players like me who have to deal with cheaters.

Didn’t quit and I didn’t lose. Nice try, little cheating fanboy [censored].

You absolutely quit. Now stop crying and necrobumping old threads just to cry more.

You did quit, therefore you did lose.

Yo do you just want attention on this forum or something? Just discovered it? Stop with your ignorant complaints .. what makes you so entitled to complain about the game yet most people encounter the same things yet don't act like a entitled little brat.

No, I didn't "quit" anything. I was winning and the game froze. I left the game on for more than a full hour despite not knowing about this ludicrous "whoever turns off their PS4 first loses regardless of the score" garbage. The fact that you would defend this "rule" as legitimate or attack someone who is rightfully upset about it tells us that you are most likely a cheater and at the very least a complete [censored].

OK man, you need to stop with this. You called a guy a “cheating fanboy” because he politely explained to you what happened, as did many others on here.
You’re taking a stand on a hill that you will die on. If you don’t want to accept how the online gameplay is right now, that’s fine, but being a douche to people who tried to help you is not cool.
Let it go.

Yes, I put out a 10-step plan to fix the online game and I'm "ignorant" just because I don't sit here and agree with some video game company knowingly enabling cheating online, which I and others pay to play. Go soak your head in a tub of ice water, jackass.

There's no way anyone could objectively read this thread, or others by folks standing up to cheaters and being handed losses for no reason, and come way with that conclusion. Myself and others who explain the flaws in the online game are being met with responses like "you just suck" or "stop whining." Many of these trolls are almost certainly cheaters themselves. So no, I will not shut up just because you don't like the facts about why online play is currently illegitimate.

You do realize that your 10-step plan to solve cheating actually has nothing to do with cheating, right? What you describe are bugs or issues you have with the game. Nothing more, nothing less.
