A workaround I've found for this is not going back to the menu after every game. It'll force your default loadout in your first game from the RTTS menu but every game after won't force the default and whatever you choose will be what you play with. It's not perfect, and the first game of every series will be on your default, but I think it's better than deleting and remaking after every single game like some people have been doing.
I think it's random but if it's anything like previous years the manager will ask you to steal but I don't think you get penalized if you don't attempt.
I’ve also noticed that the text in Franchise Mode now uses gender neutral pronouns (they instead of he/she).
Surely it’s not too difficult to substitute “she” for “he” into the text when a female player is detected.
that sucks, custom rosters are op. in 23, I moved all the best MLB players to the tigers ( they suck) and then I joined that team and we went 160-22 and won the world series 3 years in a row, won basically every award in the AL, my team was basically the all star game. so much fun, but i got tired of winning, so i just made a new RTTS with the same player.
I haven't seen anyone who's been able to obtain quirks this year and maybe even last year. I do believe we should be able to get and adjust them, especially since we can't take the RTTS player into DD anymore so it shouldn't matter at all.
I don’t buy equipment in the marketplace. I only get what I get out of packs and out of programs. If it’s a diamond it’ll be near impossible to pull out of a pack.
