Dang. Sounds to me like you're seriously unlucky.
I honestly don't know how the CPU chooses how a team will do, but it can vary to both extremes. For instance: I've got two players who got drafted by the Cubs. The first player is stuck on a Cubs team that is dead last in the NL Central every year. The second finished their rookie season by helping the Cubs win the Pennant. (The Cubs would go on to win the Worlds Series, but my player was optioned back to Triple-A before the series began.) So...yeah. Total luck of the draw. Hope yours improves.

@Frankdatruetank yea. it has only happened once for me. they might have changed it since then, i got drafted by the blue jays and she got drafted by i don't remember who and she was in the majors before june. i've deleted that character since then since it was my test character. i think how they decide is based on her overall. so if her overall is better than 2nd baseman for the major league team she's apart of the sooner she becomes a major leaguer

Also, just set the calls to perfect in the settings menu and that'll fix that issue.

So, my question is to anyone having this issue - How far have you advanced with your 2 way player or pitcher? Are you still only in the Minors or are you up in the Majors yet?

I haven't played in many years but it used to be that your selected difficulty was for the majors and the minor leagues were steps down from that,don't know if it still is they have change almost everything since then,but it could be.

@Dolenz It's just a programming skill issue - 255 is the highest number in 8-bit binary. They could probably change the format but I guess they don't care

The more I look into it, the more it looks like a mechanics issue. First, there are more right-handed batters. Second, it makes throwing to 3rd easier. And, finally receiving the catch from an outfielder or cutoff player is easier to make the a tag on an incoming runner. This is most likely why there have not been any lefthanded catchers since Benny Distefano, who caught 3 games for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1989.

What I've noticed is they only give stars in the Minors and equipment in the Majors. I've noticed that since release.

You are correct.........it is just to slow down and annoy XP farmers. There will be no option added because this isn't a bug it's the feature (to SDS) to me it's annoying

I can see them adding new cleats or updating the style with the newer version, but to replace them and drop from diamond to gold after I spent 30k to get the 2 pair I had is ridiculous. Replace or refund.

No, the rosters for RTTS and Franchise are locked at the time you start the mode.

I'll have to try the reinstall. But auto save is still on, and for some reason it only runs if I go back to the club house. Which you don't do during the series in rtts unfortunately.
