Saved pitching sequence gets reset to basic three pitches after update

Pitch count has been an issue since I started playing back in 21.

@Joker1423HaHa So I have no idea what I did, like the other replies at first I had no luck. But I tried again tonight and suddenly it worked. I guess drink a beer or two and try and try again.

I'm relieved and happy to say I've been completely finished with cpu grinding for now..

Try uninstalling the game then reinstalling it again

In my experience, you need to be online to get it to make progress. In the last few years, and also this year, when you lose connection to the internet, you gotta re-establish connection to MLB The Show.

So if you're putting your playstation to sleep while in RTTS, when you turn your console back on it notifies you that you've lost connection. You need to save your game, quit out of RTTS back to the main menu, and open something that needs to be connected, like Diamond Dynasty to get the game to go back online.

Then you can quit out of that, go back to RTTS and start making progress again. It's so silly, years ago I feel like there was a button to reconnect from the quick menu, but that's been gone for a while now and I miss it.

@Dyalry Some of these go a bit too far I think, though I do agree that some small changes would go a long way.

The older PGA and Madden games would let you purchase new clothing and gear, and reflect changes in salaries with changes in the way your home looks. Not much control, but enough that it felt like you were moving up.

Likewise, the old NBA games had interviews after most matches, with one or two questions from a rotating list that effect relationships with your teammates and fans. It didn't have any impact on the way the game played, but again, it was a nice little touch.

Also, RTTS is mcuh different this year than it has been over the last couple of years, and that's not even considering the entirely new storyline for female players.

You could do that the last two years too. It was only 21 where you could only have one.

Are you playing on a Switch? That has been having massive issues I know...
