Hi all
I'm new to MLB and baseball but i like card collection games so yesterday i picked up MLB and OMG! what is this the Dark Souls of sports games !!!
Hitting the ball is crazy hard but i guess I just need to practice it (a lot) more.
But i have a question about tutorial there doesn't seem to be any in-game I found some help popups in the settings but these are pretty basic.
Am i missing some tutorial mode somewhere in the like 200 menu's or is there just no tutorial ?
I really don't have much of a clue what i'm doing so it would be nice to have some kind of tutorial for new players that goes over first of all the rules of baseball in general and second how positions are played and their controls.
And third players statistics etc. because especially the last 2 aren't explained like at all or extremely basic.
Also what the heck is a Bullpen even ?!? I open packs and sometimes get the option to add to rotation or Bullpen sometimes sell sometimes nothing.
I'm very confused by this as I don't even know what a Bullpen/rotation means.
So for now i just backed out every pack opening don't want to be adding them to something I don't understand.
Look the basic baseball rules i can get away with by YouTube videos but like for example in-game you get in quite a lot of situations. when I finally get a ball to hit (first of all it get's caught like 95% of the time) my dude runs to first base but there's already one of my players there so my dude just walks off the field, is he out what even happend ? and why is dude on first base not running second base. And there's a lot of other examples of things I really didn't get especially throwing one time you just throw other times you use the R2 marker thing it's not making a lot of sense to new players we could really use a proper tutorial.
I'd have to say though game is addicting even though i suck at it and miss like 99% of hits it's still fun 😉
Not complaining on the game I like the game, just need more support for newer players imo
well, thats baseball susan
