Over the past several years, with the introduction of multiplatform versions of the game, the Vaults are not known to be responsive when uploading, rating, etc.

As a result, we've got a Logo Vault that's flooded with duplicates (not to mention WAY too many vulgar logos). Many are uploading more than once, because they're receiving errors after attempting to upload, albeit the upload worked (they don't know that).

Could an algorithm be created to flush out duplicates? For example, if 90+% of another logo is identical, remove any copies that exist after the original upload.

We could drop from 45,000 pages to probably 2-3000, maybe less!

And my final request: Since the player models' textures have been updated, those of us who used to create dozens of our own legends/players in past years have since stopped, because we're required to recreate them, every year.

If the logos can transfer over, why can't the players? Please consider these crucial detail for those of us who use the Vault, daily!

I searched for one of my original threads, but I'm not seeing it. I don't like forums, but I'm making the best of it. When Nintendo Wii U was released and people made vulgar sketches, they were caught in minutes. Nintendo took this seriously.

Your company has been telling people, for nearly a decade, that you welcome the tens of thousands of images of smut that's flooded the Vault. Inaction speaks volumes. You know this, I know this.

The kids in my family have already seen it, and my friends' kids have seen them too. THIS is infuriating and completely disgraceful. How do you explain what they're seeing, to a child? How can anyone justify this?

For an E-rated game, this is UNACCEPTABLE, and saying "Wow, these are great ideas" or "We take this very seriously", as I've heard dozens of times... if that was true, something would have been done by now.

Call of Duty, among other titles, have removed the ability to create logos, altogether, because the abuse wouldn't stop, and they weren't willing to stay on top of it.

You're selling a game that's AO, under the guise of an E-rated game, with explicit lyrics in your soundtracks too (choose hiphop songs that don't need to be bleeped out) from now on, and do something about these logos, NOW.

I may be the most vocal of the ones who are sick of this [censored], and if that's what it takes, so be it.

You need to be held responsible for this, as there are many groups out there that are willing to take action, should you decide to continue to, as you've said "take this seriously" without TAKING this seriously. The disclaimer you've added; has that stopped this? No, not in the least.

I urge all of you to go to the Vault, at any given point in time, and you can go back hundreds of pages, still finding drug & alcohol ads, racist materials, jokes about P. Diddy, Nazi symbols, nudity, and just about anything you can imagine.

I don't want to have to pursue this beyond your studio, but the people I know that are already furious, myself included, feel that we're left with few options, at this point.

As the title says, I've always been curious as how legends are decided and brought into each iteration of The Show. Some players, like Andre Dawson, went missing for just a few months, then was readded, with a slightly different face.

Is it possible to bring back all of the Legends that were once replaced, having all in the game simultaneously?

I'm a franchise/RTTS player, and I love putting together all-time teams. We'd have access to so many players, and we'd only want to plug in a few others for each team, just to flesh them out.

I'm a long time Create-A-Player user; it's been very frustrating in recent years to have to remake all of the past year's players. It's a very time consuming process for us artists who try to provide the best likenesses, and as such, many of us have died off.

I see the game adds roughly 10 more to the no. of Legends available, with each passing game.

Some say contracts with players are involved, some believe that it's memory-related.

If you all at the studio could shed some light on this, it would be GREATLY appreciated!

This isn't just about removing the bad, but also, keeping the good. The created players are VERY valuable to those of us that want to preserve the history of the game. Before 2021, I'd create dozens of visually accurate players each year. We had a large group of dedicated artists, including Sammy and Mojo. Until this year, Dr. Sublime (XBOX) created a bevy of guys that were incredibly accurate.

We want to keep these creations into the next year. It's the most important thing for us.

Why are drugs and alcohol-related logos allowed in the Logo Vault?

I'm curious as to why SDS has chosen, in recent years, to put SO many losers into the game, as Legends. Palmeiro, McGwire, Sosa... what are you doing?

Bring back Will Clark, Dennis Martinez, and get some guys that played a hundred years ago. We're educating the players on Negro League players who played nearly 100 years ago, so let's do the same with MLB.

Clemens can go, too. Why waste the time and money on these guys? They don't have a place in a game that's supposed to be the pinnacle of baseball video games.

I talked to a guy in Cooperstown who really likes them, and I told him that he's no true fan of MLB!

I've noticed this too, since I'm always creating something for the game, usually players or rosters, but I've been curious to see how much better The Big O could get, the last few years. There's some awesome stuff in the Stadium Vault, and I wouldn't count out incoming improvements. With all sorts of new methods to help push games past their quickly aging code, something has to give!

Focusing on stadiums and players is top priority for me, so I'm with you.

You're very welcome! I've been working with this issue for years, and I've spoken directly to several at SDS, so I greatly appreciate your help!

@ralph13m_PSN I had somewhere around 75 of them done in extreme detail, in 2020, but then they were wiped. I think the following year, or 2022, is when the textures were upgraded. There's a learning curve with modeling faces, stances, etc., but I constantly revise the guys I create.

Like I said before, a lot of the regulars who had been creating for many years have stopped buying the game. Creativity thrives when we can create players, and then utilize our own music. Sounds of the Show being gone, too... it's really killed the experience.

So the question now is... WHEN will MLB The Show be available on PC? This will solve many of our problems!

@SakAttack87_PSN It seems there are roughly 10 more added to their database yearly, and with every player added, more memory is utilized (I've figured this out by moving around so many players in one session to make the game crash completely).

I still want to see proof that it's financial. And I still don't see why some players have two different versions, instead of just one. We all know that this game has serious declined in quality since it went to multiple platforms, and losing Legends is the last thing we want.

Those of us who Create Players, like myself, and have for almost a decade, have given up at this point, because we lose everything from the previous year, yet they allow the logos to remain. I like to create All-Time Franchise rosters, and we had a large community, but that's died off, and most of the crew doesn't bother to even buy this game anymore. So, we rely on keeping existing legends, only to see more added each year, not subtracted.

I'd like to know, also, given how long I've been creating players! I have not been able to figure it out. I've seen you've been busy making a lot of players; just be careful to not copy others' work and reupload it.

I'm not sure how long you've been at this, but we have to recreate them over again, year-to-year, which was not the case before the game was ported to other systems.

Join my cause in getting SDS to allow players from the Vault to carry over, as logos do!

@Dolenz_PSN The server handling exceptions, yadda yadda aren't helping either. I know there is a crew that has to manually go through all of these and delete them. If you take 10 minutes a day to report them, the more that do that, the faster they go down.

I'm not threatening SDS; I simply saying that it's time to stop screwing around and get it done.

Then, we can move onto the goal of allowing us to keep our created players into the next year.

I understand that's part of it, but as far as the numbers of players available, I feel like they limit it themselves, based on the time and resources they have, too, right?

Sometimes it seems like the rights to use a certain player remain, but they replace some of those guys anyhow, for the sake of limitations of the software itself.

Why have two of one player, while removing others that are likely still under contract?

@Dolenz_PSN I have a long list of the issues. First, they need to create an algorithmic, visual filter. If they can fix the server handling exception errors in the meantime, awesome.

And also in the meantime, I'm effing tired of all the minors that see this [censored] and then repost it a dozen times.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN I truly believe that you get it, and that you want them to rectify this too. I want the players to carry over, but the Logo Vault has to be cleaned up first, the server handling exception errors in that same process. It would create a LOT less tedium for the staff.

I've spoken to several people via the feedback system, over the past few years. They are trying, and there's one in particular who is EXTREMELY diligent.

We have an incredibly complex and beautiful game that captures the sport better than most of us could ever think to design. Every day, I find something new that almost blows my mind; the attention to detail is incredible, and that means starting over and making a new game from scratch is [censored] nearly impossible!
