I'd like to know about the state of the Vault this year. Fewer and fewer want to make players, because we have not been given a chance to keep that Vault open. I know there were next textures and hair added, but this year, I'm hoping they're still available.

On the flip side, please make sure that Logo vault is clean. There's no excuse for it to contain at LEAST 40% vulgar, racist, etc. And there's so many duplicates. Clean it up! You have people who are dedicated. Reward them!

@PriorFir4383355_XBL I'm not pissed at you, but I'm very disappointed with San Diego Studios. They like to remove the good things and keep flooding in the bad.

Forums are counterproductive nearly 100% of the time, so I'll be taking my business to other groups who will mandate that they change this, or face consequences.

@Dolenz_PSN I'm not here to argue. I'm directing it at certain people, and they know they have a responsibility to change it. Fix it, remove it altogether (like they had no problem doing with Sounds of the Show and franchise rosters carrying over), but this MUST stop, yesterday.

It won't hurt a single person to remove the logo vault altogether. Duplicates and vulgar [censored] needs to go. No arguing, no discussions necessary. It MUST be done.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL If you've looked at it, you know [censored] well that most of the Vault is NOT wholesome. I'm not here to read all of this; I want something to be done, so that my kids don't see this [censored].

So, where are we at with cleaning up this vulgar mess of a Vault, not to mention the tens of thousands of duplicates? The disclaimer is nice and all, but that's not stopping anyone.

Any time a vulgar/offensive logo crops up (dozens of times daily), those are the ones most rapidly and often downloaded, which is just perpetuating the problem.

I suggest removing custom logos altogether, because we've been pressing you for years about it, but nothing happens.

I'm hoping you all are aware of the random crashes happening on XBOX. It doesn't matter what mode I'm playing, but the game completely halts. No dashboard exit, just a complete lockup. I haven't run into this in previous years. It can happen within the first several minutes of booting up the game, too.

I'm not sure to whom to direct this, but please, put this atop the list!

P.S. Clean up that vault!

Yeah, okay. I'm glad people around here know exactly what's going on at these companies.

I really hope that Super Mega Baseball blows up and gets MLB licensing. It will light a fire under SDS's arses.

I appreciate the disclaimer, but there's a lot more of us reporting the logos that go against your COC, because we're not seeing any change in how quickly the vulgar ones are taken down.

This should be a top priority for your studio, as the vulgar ones get the most downloads, which leads to more uploads. You've got great tools at your disposal. Use them.

Even though SDS thinks they can't take blame for user created items, they can be.

Clean up the duplicates, nail the uploaders with the Nazi symbols, [censored]-[censored], ejaculating [censored], etc., as they come in... if you can't do it yourselves, hire me. And no, I ain't joking! I'd have that 46000+ pages looking immaculate, within a week, maybe less.

To your credit, you have some folks that work for you that do their best, but it's just not good enough. Fix the server issues on your end, create the algorithms to nuke duplicates and smut, and this will go away.

Otherwise, I think it's best to remove custom logos altogether, as COD had to, because they were going to face bigger problems if they hadn't.

I wish they'd consider your thoughts over the many on here that I've already blocked, who think they represent the company and its forums, but use it to mostly bring others down or tell us "that's never going to happen".

Sometimes leaders don't like when bolder leaders enter their "territory". Keep doing what you're doing!

I think I mentioned this before, but I own MLB The Show 24 (the PS4 version) on my PS5. I never once played it on my long-gone Playstation 4. They never removed the ability to import files. They simply didn't incorporate it into the "next-gen" versions, which still run inferiorly to the Playstation only PS4 versions.

It's not the hardware, it's the software version they didn't bother with; the ability to do it is there. They just chose not to keep it. Adding flowing hair and a stadium creator are cool new additions, but fixing what wasn't broken wasn't necessary.

The menus are still a godawful mess, too, but that's an American thing, when it comes to designs and layouts.

And as many people here know how I feel about this, the Vault needs to be cleaned up, YESTERDAY. And it needs to function smoothly.

I grew up on 80s music, ska, techno, orchestral... there's not much there for me, either! I stay open-minded enough. I like a few of the songs each year, but I used to throw on my own soundtrack, and it felt like home. I could create players for hours and listen to my own playlist. I'll always miss that.

@fubar2k7_PSN It won't be long before we can use AI to create a PC port, so your dream will become a reality!

@jaychvz_XBL Utilizing AI, game companies will be rendered obsolete, before much longer. MLB The Show will be able to make itself, and we'll be able to modify it however we like!

@PriorFir4383355_XBL I read all of this, and I agree 5000%, for what its worth! I thought the studio came off a bit snotty, up until the mid-2010s. I didn't care for the product, but with all of the visual upgrades, the immersion, the various difficulty and ways to play additions, adding legends, and all of the freedom of customization, it became an incredibly good product!

XBOX fans went NUTS for this game, when 2021 hit. I could already see the drag while paging between teams, pages in the Vault, the glaring omission of Sounds of the Show. It wasn't off to a great start.

I'm not sure where the hiccup is, where this bottleneck is, but a lot of the people on these forums certainly don't seem to care to encourage positive change for the series. They prefer to watch as we make considerate, thoughtful critiques and ideas for positive change, tearing us down.

It's a forum, so... it goes with the territory.

So when someone like yourself puts up something this thoughtful, it adds to my day, so thank you!

I know there are lots of great people who love this product and especially those who love making it. Let's not see it devolve into Madden, because the XBOX and Switch fans are already trashing it more, year-to-year. They get a well-respected Sony game on a different platform, and Sony is held to a standard. And, rightfully so!
