still have to hear about the two suits every game at Yankee Stadium... 3 years now i think

Hey guys (and girls), I am writing this today to let you all know that I have started uploading my very own Roster Updates on a daily basis for MLB the show. My goal is to provide you with the best roster content for your team and the other 29 teams. Please know that I would rather you message me directly a concern, suggestion, or question regarding the uploads, instead of just giving it a poor rating. As I have said, my main goal is to have each team 40 man as accurate as possible.

Things to keep in mind:

1. I am mostly keeping the ratings the game has provided for major league players, unless I believe it is extremely off and a player will rebound in 23.

2. Contracts are 23' first and then I combined the 22' year to match the length of each. Therefore, for example, Anthony Rizzo contract is 3 years instead of 2 because it keeps in mind the 22 season. Also note that I can't go over 10 years, so those contracts will match the dollar amount towards 10.

3. Prospects and upcoming minor leaguers have been updated to match what I believe they will be in 23'.

4. 40 man, lineups, rotations, bullpen etc - is mostly matching fan graphs and/or the teams page depth charts.

5. Please if I missed something, or you have a suggestion about your team or others, please contact me directly instead of just giving up on me or the uploads. My goal is to provide you guys with the best.

@toeter83_PSN ya I use zone and pure analog as my defaults…. Directional hitting is the absolute cheesiest way to cheese someone tho. Pinpoint Id say takes a lot to get used to but once down, it’s cheese.

Gleyber Torres currently only a 74 overall. Needs a nice update next time.

Can we please get him to at minimum 80 overall, the disrespect is sad guys…. It’s Giancarlo Stanton. His numbers are still respectable, and as we can see tonight. He is solid in LF!!!!

My guess is DH / 1B / 3B. Casas will need someone to protect him in case he starts slow. Devers is obviously 3B but will play about 140 games, so he'll need some days. DH is probably a safe bet.

Cole continues to lead baseball or be in the top 5 for strikeouts each season. However, the game continues to lower his attribute. ( 80 - now 70..)

Why is this???

I don't ask for a whole lot when it comes to the show...but if not this season...I would love to see a 2014 Version of Jacoby Ellsbury. (his best season as a Yankee) He is one of my favorite players/yankees and I would like for them to do it. In my unbiased opinion, I would put him as 85 overall.

93 to 78 in just 10 starts?? Knowing he was coming off an injury? I feel like that's a bit much

My focus will be less on ratings, as I would prefer to leave that to MLB THE SHOW themselves. However, each update that they make regarding players ratings and attributes, I will be certain to make those same edits to my daily uploads. That said, my focus will be more on the franchise aspect of each teams roster, ensuring that their overall DEPTH (MLB/MILB), 40 Man, Active 26, Lineup, Rotation, Bullpen, PAYROLL/CONTRACTS, EQUIPMENT/STANCE/MOTIONS and possibly more if the game has added new features. I do rosters for franchise every year. I try my best to get all 30 teams as accurate as possible. I usually try to leave ratings to the game itself but I focus more on 40 man, prospects, lineups, rotations, contracts and depth chart.

I’m waiting for the first update from the game before I get into my in depth edits for each team. I will be uploading my editing to Twitch daily and love feedback and suggestions.

The only thing that bothers me about doing this every year is other people eventually download my upload, make minor to no edits and call it their own in a separate upload. I try to see it as a compliment but it’s annoying them taking credit.

What is up with the roster update? Injured players on the active roster still, healthy players that are not, and even some players who are on active rosters that aren't even in the game yet.... I don't get it. They got 6 Yankees catchers, yet don't have one that is on the active roster.

I’m hoping by the end of the weekend to provide our franchise users the best possible roster update. I understand everyone’s frustration when it comes to franchise rosters and I am also one of them. My plan is to focus more on contracts, positional depth charts, 40 man roster, active roster, prospects, payrolls. I don’t plan to edit ratings just yet, as I will wait to see how players perform in the first few weeks. However, I promise to provide my best work in the areas listed above. I use a combination of mlb.com (team sites), fan graphs roster resource, and MLB the Show itself as my three resources for edits. Contracts can be edited for individual players through the games roster edits.
Players with guaranteed money and years are edited to match the closest dollar amount based off of AAV per year, and minor leaguers with service time are based off mlb minimum 000,000 and minor leaguers with no service time get the MILB minimum salary.
