Pls Fix Commentary
-
Hoping next year we finally get a new commentary team, least it will be fresh for a few games.
-
The game is much more enjoyable with the commentary simply turned off. You start to realize how many sounds you were missing because of the incessant prattling.
-
@MAINELYBOSTON_PSN hopefully!
-
@The_Joneser_PSN lol well I’ll have to give that a shot for sure now! Foul balls line drives it’s keeps saying it! Driving me nuts lol
-
I haven’t heard it yet, now I’m jealous lol.
-
I have to say, the bullpen logic is amazing. Never seen CPU bring in that many relievers if they weren’t getting shelled, it was always so annoying having a starter come in give it up and then bring in a relief guy and he carves you up and they leave him in for 4 innings even if he gassed.
-
@MAINELYBOSTON_PSN totally agree, before you could play a team 15 times and see the same two relievers whatever the situation but now you see different relievers depending on what’s going on. It’s a nice wee change.
-
Seriously almost a completely new game in that sense, where was this update the last 20 years?
-
@MAINELYBOSTON_PSN I remember when we said the same about ball physics. Let’s just enjoy it now it’s here.
-
still have to hear about the two suits every game at Yankee Stadium... 3 years now i think

They literally just got this team starting with 22. They arent going to replace them any time soon.

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN I say, "If their broadcast commentary hasn't improved by the end of the All-Star Break this year, fire them or don't renew their contracts for 2026." I have heard them for three years now and they still haven't improved. For instance, in one game of Diamond Dynasty that I played last year I didn't hear them speak for over five innings. What broadcasters do dead silence for that long? The answer is none! I'm starting to miss Matt Vasgerian's commentary now, they're that bad.

The announcers are not at fault. When they were first introduced, it was by staff who had just joined the team and likely lacked the necessary experience to oversee such a large project for only two or three people. SDS management is at fault for the poor audio and commentary.

You can mute the commentary.

I mute the commentary; I want to hear the game.

Not a chance probably.
It took them forever to replace the original team even though people asked for it every year, forgetting that these guys had probably 10 years worth of material already recorded.
We get the new announcers and everyone complained that they did not have enough commentary.
Not to mention the fact that they can probably only work on it for a few months a year because they have jobs during the season.

Every ground ball is “a base hit to right.” A little annoying. Especially when it’s a ground out to shortstop … or third base … or second base …
-
yeah i've experienced it too
-
@OakFan89-_MLBTS couldnt agree more. Its unbelievable how many times a groundball in the infield is referred to as a line drive base hit to the outfield. Worst flaw ive seen in the game thus far.

Every year I play RTTS only, the commentary in the minor leagues from Ben Gelman is so much better than these two clowns that do the show. When I play in the Yankee Stadium, I am so tired of hearing about the two freaking free suits, we’re growing up in New York and being a Phillies fan you’d be burned at the steak. I usually leave it on for a couple of games, but I got promoted to the Yankees and a ground ball to the outfield and then I hear you’re out, I was like ? I played a few innings and it kept happening. I had to turn it off, but that’s what I usually do every year anyway as soon as I get to major leagues, I always turn them off because you can only hear about two free suits and growing up being a fan of a different city only so often. Besides Ben Gilman is actually interesting to listen to, I do love his commercials this year, though I almost spit my drink out the first one with the cows.
