If you’re running the PS5, IMO, you’re best bet is a 4K tv that supports 60FPS and a reasonable input lag. Most budget monitors do not run 4K and it would be a shame to waste the great graphics on a monitor.

Terrible idea, even though I find this game to play much better on HOF.
The average player can't come close to catching up to a fastball on HOF, they wouldn't play ranked seasons anymore if it was only on HOF.

Howerver, they should tweak the amount of RNG on all star. The pitch speed should be slower then on HOF but the PCI shouldn't be that big and you shouldn't be rewarded a HR for a PCI that isn't on the ball. That is happening way to frequently on AS.

Agreed. Ranked shouldn’t be an upper echelon thing. It should be difficult but not so overwhelming. We don’t need to hit HRs every time but I don’t want to strike out 12 times because I can’t catch up to 97-102 mph fastball

This. You won't know how you do with them until you try them. I started hot with Biggio and terrible with Sheffield. That's switched for me as I've used them more (over two months now). Sheffield has become one of my best bats and Biggio has almost no exit velocity no matter how well I square the ball up. Take the one that fits your team, and see what happens.

Side note: This is why some type of batting practice mode would be a huge improvement in this game.

Whatever the cause, I hope it doesn't change anytime soon. Flipping hasn't been so easy for me in weeks.

Quite a few ways but it might be confusing.

You could load a game, with two controllers on your end, one on each team, start share play “pass the controller” to your friend which means he’ll take over and you’ll be using the secondary on your account. You could play 1v1 with regular teams outside Diamond Dynasty.

If you bought the digital copy and not the disk. You can also load your PS account on a friends PlayStation if they are a close friend you trust and they can download it on one additional PlayStation. You could then play each other on your own account with any restrictions diamond dynasty included.

Just make sure after they download the game they put there old account ad the primary account, otherwise when they load out, you’ll get kicked off.

That’s the thing, its just too easy to square up a ball. I’d welcome a shrink in PCI size, especially Allstar and below but then you’ll hear the mediocre players complain. Hard to find a happy medium between competitive and casual gamers
