Not often do we get matched up with a forum participant. I know it was just an event game, but that was a ton of fun, brother!

Dashboards happen pretty routinely, but I can’t recall ever being dashboarded on a walk-off homer. Always lands.

Is there an anti-dashboarder lock on game winning homers? Can anyone confirm whether it has happened to them on a walk-off?

After all, on All Star, you can get people out with a variety of pitchers. Hell, I run all sorts of lineups out there. Sure, I lost to P5 DeGrom with a grind squad of postseason players. I had my chances but couldn’t cash in.

I get that people want to win, but I don’t think you are really doing yourselves any favours this way.

If I had a P5 I'd wanna use him.

Its weird but when I get my guys to P5 I stop using them lol. And start working on some more. Its like something I have to do to complete the game or something. Only P5 I keep using is Vlad Guerrero. Because there isnt anyone that can replace him.

I have a ton of P5 players ( probably 30 plus), but like you, once they hit mark are seldom used

You have me beat almost three-fold Wyatt. I have 13 with 10 of them being 99's.

The icing on that P5 is just too pretty.

A bit on a tangent, but y’all ever seen a P5 reliever? I don’t think I’ve seen a single one.

I have both Eckersley and Rivera at P5. Pitchers are the easiest to get because both their pitching and batting count.

That must’ve taken major grinding because they don’t pitch all game

For the messages that ask for a win, I simply say, “No, but we can friendly quit if you wanna try with someone else.” We both move on without bad energy.

I leave my messages on for the occasional quality dialogue and ignore the distasteful ones. I also feel better about a brutal loss if I can message someone, “Well played.”

Wyatt, my record absolutely matters to me, but not for flexing. I play this game purely for fantasy and immersing myself for joy, so it would kill my blood flow to play a conquest game and see a sub .500 record in front of my god squad lol

I agree though. If I see a 58-8 record, it screams out “not elite” to me as well as “kindred spirit” lmao
