@collin_sds I have two Chris Taylors for some reason, but I can't access the Cronenworth. Could I please trade one of the Taylor cards for a Cronenworth?

Season 1 we're getting 90 free diamonds to grind for, so if you're wondering where the "programs" are, that's where they are. If that's what every season is going to be like, then I think there's your answer. We'll probably have access to just as many free cards as in previous versions, it's just formatted different. It really hurts those who loved the Topps Now and monthly programs most.

The endless packs replacing what would have been programs suck if:

• you like the players they're offering you in packs (in most cases I don't)
• if you want to get to the S1 collection reward (in this case I do)

Are there things about the game I don't like? The whole seasons concept itself which is Sets 2.0, the XP cap, still having baserunners stop or slide back to a base for no reason, and that font which only a graphic design school dropout would think is a good idea all come to mind.

Played MLBTS23 at launch, and with Ohtani (and Dihigo too) you could have them in your lineup or bench only and they would still show up as potential starting pitchers, so you basically had a six (or seven) man rotation.

Took some time away from the game, because sets are awful, I came back, got Finest Ohtani, and now that feature doesn't work anymore. DH only he's not in the menu to pitch. Got to have him in the rotation to pitch and if you want him to DH the same game you're running a man down on your roster.

What's going on? Am I missing something?

Basestopping = baserunning but the baserunner turns into a basestopper by just standing there between bases (usually between 1st and 2nd). Happening about once a game on average.

Can we all agree to abolish basestopping once and for all?

............and let us put sleeve patches on our custom unis while you're back there fixing it (still)

I play gold Molly at 2B, he does just fine.

Played my first game of new season, a full 9-inning game, and it only credits me as having played 7 innings.

Thanks to people on this message board, there was an earlier thread troubleshooting, which it's sad that we have to figure this out on our own like some kind of bonus Mystery Mission.

Restart Mini Seasons, you cannot just sit there in server exception limbo because the data is corrupted, and make sure you:

1. use the exact same roster the entire season
2. do not quit any game to save time

After doing these things it let me play the championship round. I banged it out in one day because I don't know if your opponent (mini seasons teams are based off actual DD teams) changing their roster would corrupt the data and cause the server exception.

Speaking as someone who made a point of getting that sweet Mauer collection reward right away I hope that program gives you a sellable cover player card.

In my case, Season 1 (the only one I was able to play the championship round) I believe is the only one (of 4) where I can say I used the same roster the entire way and also didn't quit out of any games to speed things along.

Seasons 2-4 I most definitely quit out of games and there were changes to my roster each time, and each time I got the USE after the semifinal round win.

Are you saying this is the problem? Or I also read something about how it could be the opponent's roster?

Decided to restart the mini season after being in a holding pattern for a few days, thinking maybe if you start the season after the update it would work.

Nope. Immediately after clinching the semifinal win right to unhandled server exception.

Hey SDS, can I just have the Longo card? This is ridiculous. You can keep the stubs and XP, I'm already done with the FOTF program.

People worried donating 5 bucks to Jackie Robinson's foundation will undermine their "no money spent" status.....this is where the real comedy is.

Still stuck on hold between the semifinal and the championship.

They have not said but I would bet that you would need to restart.

I'm not going to restart it until I get confirmation that it would work. It's obviously a broken mode right now.

Me too. Second go-round with this mode. Made it to the finals again and yes I am getting the unhandled server exception.

I just want to get this over with so I can get my Longoria card, my 10K stubs, my XP so I can never play that stupid mini season garbage ever again. I hate it more than I hate showdown, and I despise showdown.

You know how you have 4 different squads?

I wish:

1. each squad could have different unis (I will table my request for sleeve patches for the purposes of this topic)
2. that I could play CPU games between two of the squads. Like my A-squad that plays in ranked against my B-team full of guys I like that don't make the cut.

Anyone else notice the map resembles the state of Virginia?

It took me 41 turns to get all the strongholds under control.
