This would be great if the game always allowed you to run at a baserunner like you should be able to. Can’t tell you how many times I have stepped off the mound in this game for it to not let me run at a baseunner. Then by the time I throw instead, they have the bag. Same thing happens at times with fielders.

Have you tried stepping off, throwing to 2nd and using the infielder to run the runner back?

I appreciate the suggestion, but you should still be able to run at a baserunner with a pitcher. Also, this solution doesn’t always generate an out. A runner getting too big of a lead or leaving early should almost always generate an out if the defensive player handles it properly.

No prob. I totally agree. The video game SHOULD play like how the real game IS played.

Depends; if you played 2 games then it’s considered a double header; they forgot to change the rule this year.

It was all about diagnostics.

I'm really happy to see that the issue is a NOT our rosters. Seeing people restart and getting through is great.

When problem solving, you need as much of a control environment as possible.

So now after the restarting, it APPEARS to be linked to the opponent rosters. Now is it cross play on/off related? Is it our side with cross play on/off? Is it when our opponent does something mid flight, meaning roster changes WHILE our game is being played, so post game, everything dumps to error?

We won't know but I hope SDS will start narrowing it down. We can only do so much as the consumer here.

That would be a neat feature. Personally, I would love even the option to have an alternate uniform without having to change it.

Anyone else notice the map resembles the state of Virginia?

The offline stuff is also problematic. I’m in a freeze off with the cpu in the 8the inning of my SECOND vs O’s on AS game. Beyond frustrating. I’ll have to play three games to get credit for one, assuming the third one even counts.

Baserunning animation that needs looking at too. I see more guys diving back into a base on a ground ball in one conquest game than 30 years of IRL baseball.
