As we continue through the year with MLB The Show 20, I wanted to put out a few reminders of general forum etiquette.

• Please respect others and their opinions, even if they differ from your own. Mods will continue to remove personal attacks or continued nonconstructive toxicity. (Think of the Golden Rule).
• Please utilize the ignore feature - it’s better to ignore the trolls than it is to engage the trolls.
  To ignore someone: Click on their name to go to their profile -> Click on “More" on the right, and select “Ignored”.

We understand many are vocal about the game right now, and everyone is more than welcome to express their opinions, ideas, and perspectives here. But keep in mind - attacking others for any reason will not be tolerated and those who do so will be removed. If you cannot disagree with someone respectfully, then please do not respond.

• Yes - we’re working on another game update (1.13), but we do not have any details we can share at this time.
• We’re constantly monitoring our social channels (and that includes the TSN forums). I know we say this a lot, and though you may not always see us respond, we are absorbing what is being said - not just the positives, but also the negatives, and everything in between.

I appreciate your patience, your feedback, and I hope you’re all staying safe and healthy.

Hiya folks!

Just wanted to chime in with an update:

• We recently deployed some server side updates that reduced the number of "server exception" errors players were seeing. We will continue to monitor and prioritize server stability as we move forward.
• We have server maintenance scheduled for 4 AM PT on Tuesday 4/27 (tomorrow). If all goes according to plan, this maintenance will include a fix to the unlinking issue that users have been reporting to us here on the forums.
• And yes, we have a game update in the works. I can't go into details, but it includes many fixes to reported issues and more. Stay tuned for more info.

Thank you all for your detailed reports and patience while we work to smooth things over.

UPDATE: Log into the Show Account you created and you should see the red "unlink" buttons. This should unlink your account and your progress should be restored to what it was before the linking.

There were no gameplay changes made in 1.06, or 1.07 - just bug fixes.

Shouldn't this be the one and only forum SDS should pay attention to? I would think if people can get on twitter or reddit, they can get on here and talk about the game.

Not everyone chooses to post here, and we respect that.

There are so many awesome communities outside of The Show Nation with tons of feedback and different perspectives - we don't want force people out of their comfort zone, so we try to keep an eye on as many as we can.

First - yes, there is a game update in the works, but I can't give details at this time. Stay tuned!

Re: Freezes - we're investigating the freezes and we're working to get them fixed. The reports and videos that were sent to us are super helpful, so thank you for those who sent them our way through the support portal (theshow.gg/support) and private channels.

Remember that posting about exploits may break the rules and can also very quickly become toxic, resulting in the thread being locked and or deleted. It's okay to talk about these things happening and to spread awareness, but it's typically not okay showcasing exactly how they're done (this can sometimes include links to YT videos, etc...)

The team is aware of the issues with Custom Leagues and working to get them resolved. There are a few fixes that are currently being tested now.

In the meantime, if we can keep the feedback on these issues to this thread to consolidate the reports - that would help the team greatly moving forward.

We appreciate your patience while we work to get the issues resolved.

For Signature Series cards, vision is not calculated the same as it was last year.

Does vision affect the timing window?

Essentially yes. It allows for an elite hitter to make contact with worse timing then say an average hitter with that same timing.

Check swings need some work. We know it.

Replays are not always 1:1 accurate. You may notice small things in replays (like the ball clipping through the bat, and some swing follow through, for example) - this doesn't actually happen on the field, but we realize that it can be confusing when seeing it in the replay feature.

We hope to give both check swings and the replay feature some love in the future.

Hiya folks. Thanks for the reports for this. We're currently working on a fix.

Additionally, we will be adding a Championship Series choice pack to the shop for free once the fix is deployed.

Servers are now back online. We will continue to monitor and work to improve stability.

I wouldn't put it past also banning them. They may just not state it in the notes. While it was a major issue, and was bad, it's not as bad as having racist and sexually provocative icons and team names.

All the reports are taken seriously, and if confirmed, we will take action on both those who upload offensive content, and those who exploit the game with methods like the intentional walk freeze.

Also worth mentioning - not every freeze is intentional. Some do happen randomly for whatever reason or bug that is currently in the game. We are working to resolve as many as we can.
