That's exactly what I want.
It seems like they use logic to only check the number of played games that meet the rookie eligibility.
It would be good to change the logic to double check not only the games played but also the service time.
I've been playing franchise mode with some favorite legends. I created them and added to my roster.

Is there no way to prevent them being nominated for Rookie of the Year even though they were given several MLB service years?
As pitchers do not indulge in enthusiasm in every strikeout situation, it would be better if foul hit animation tailored to the circumstances.
What difficulty did you play in previous series?
As @fubar2k7 mentioned above, Lee is Korean but was born in Japan. That's why the place of birth (not nationality) is listed as Japan on The Show. The MLB official website(mlb.com) used to indicate it same as well.
As far as I know, Lee asked mlb.com to fix it and so it's been fixed.
Wouldn’t The Show also reflect this in the future?
How do you guys figure out when a pitcher's gonna throw a high fastball?
Back in the day, if a pitcher shook his head while exchanging signs with the catcher, it usually meant a high fastball.
But in the show 24, I'm not so sure.
Maybe there's a new pattern emerging, like PitchCom's influence or something.
I put fastball slider at maximum for more realistic experience.
How do you catch onto these hints?
@Blind_Bleeder First of all, I agree that it still has a long way to go but the Stadium Creator is vast. .
On the other hand, The Show already has the cleat editor and all you have to do is just an additional feature.
Guys, wouldn't it be awesome if The Show had a feature like the shoes editing in NBA 2K?
We could design our own cleats with different shapes, colors, and brands.
Think about all the new cleat designs you could create, or even choose from models that aren't currently in the game. It would add a whole new level of customization!

The lineup adjustment and trade logic by the CPU is really messed up.
Has anyone given any serious thought to the selection criteria for the Gold Glove Award? I figured out by what logic the Gold Glove winners were selected. They are simply sorted by fielding rate, and priority is given to teams in the Eastern Division. Isn't it really stupid? If you doubt what I'm saying, check it out.
It's more important to me that existing legends improve than the emergence of new legends.
They don't look horribly alike at all, and their motions are even weirder.
It's understandable that making significant improvements to The Show, such as integrating a next-generation graphics engine, presents challenges due to their budget and staffing constraints.
Nevertheless, even incremental enhancements can make a substantial impact, especially given the focus on maximizing content with legend contents this year.

Including more classic content could greatly enhance the appeal to the current user of The Show. Instead of just the daring Negro League mode, adding iconic stadiums like the Astrodome or Candlestick Park and introducing additional legendary players would resonate strongly with users.
In franchise mode, ensuring that a legend player's career stats align with their age would add authenticity. Similar to the 2K series, if a player like Ken Griffey Jr. is represented at 27 years old, their career stats should only reflect accomplishments up to that age. I don't want to see 31-year-old Randy Johnson fans 5,000th strikeouts during the season in franchise mode.
Offering this as an optional feature would cater to various player preferences.
Enhancing the franchise mode to allow users to select classic teams, not just uniforms, would significantly enhance immersion. For instance, enabling players to control the 1995 Florida Marlins rather than just wear their old uniforms would add depth. Accompanying changes to team names and logos would further enrich the experience, making it more immersive. For example, LAA to California Angels, Washington Nationals to Montreal Expos.
Providing options for classic rules in franchise mode, alongside current ones like the designated hitter and extra inning runners, would offer players more flexibility. Adding classic equipment, such as bats, gloves, and cleats from past eras, would enrich the gameplay experience. Even a few pieces from the 90s era, when equipment diversity was less extensive, could have a significant impact on immersion and nostalgia.
Improving the appearance modeling and animation of legendary players is crucial for maintaining authenticity and player engagement. While some legends like Ken Griffey Jr. are well-represented, others lack the same level of polish. Given the enduring legacy of The Show series, investing in proper implementation of legendary players should be a priority for enhancing overall gameplay quality.
It's really cool that new legends are added every year and the Negro League Mode is added this year. But how many users among The Show users can remember the Negro Leagues and enjoy this new mode?
I think the existing legends need to be improved first. Some legends have good reproduction, but many of them have appearances and motions that are completely different from reality and it's been like that for several years.
Active players need to be updated every time because their appearance changes as time passes, but once legends are properly worked on it, they will remain even as the series changes. So it's much more cost-effective than working on active players.
Still, I am very grateful that SDS is open to listening to these topics. I've been playing The Show for over 10 years and have given feedback almost every year since I had a channel to give feedback on the game and they mostly responded seriously.
We can experience the great legacy of Major League Baseball in this game, and now we need to enjoy it even better.

I'm just saying that the contact swing has a greater advantage in hitting a home run than the power swing.
I'm not saying that you should never hit a home run with the contact swing.

Yes you can surely get home runs with contact swings.

I watch a lot of real MLB games and I"ve seen numerous times where guys look like they're just trying to touch the ball instead of swinging for the fences and it goes over the fence. That happens a lot more often than you might think.
I was watching a White Sox game the other day I saw Tim Anderson hit a home run and it looked like he was just barely swinging the bat. He just took a casual swing at the ball and there it went. So most of these people who are always complaining and whining are unaware of the game of baseball.

The contact swing is still cheating for hitting home runs.
I've hit a lot of home runs on my contact swing and even today I hit a 456-feet home run with a contact swing.
When this happens, I can't help but doubt the necessity of the power swing.
The power swing causes a wasted swing and is more disadvantageous than the contact swing when it comes to home runs which is nonsense.
Some equipment like Easton Walk-Off NX batting glove and Adidas cleats are different from the photo and the actual model.
Even those Adidas cleats are older models!
It is clear that they specialize in making bad things worse rather than improving them.
They only added just one model of Asics cleats and removed many others like Jordan, Addidas, New Balance which are popularly used among MLB players. It doesn't make sense.

Expectations for Randy Johnson in this game were really high, but I'm disappointed when I actually played it. But what can you expect from SDS? Complaints about their pitching motion have been going on for years. Not only Chris Sale, but also Clayton Kershaw and even Ohtani this year.
This is their best even with motion capture.
