Rain outs and double headers
-
This is something I’ve wanted ever since they implemented rain delays. It would give an added layer for sure. Anybody agree?
-
No they had it in 2k but people absolutely hated it. There is no need for it in this game

@rheineman56 I'd be down for that, adds more realism.

Sounds interesting,until it happens.
and it's rained out in the 2nd inning, and the starter for that game pitches the day before the doubleheader,so you have to use a bullpen game or burn another starter(whose stats get messed up cause it counts as a relief appearance)and then it's a slugfest on both sides and you end up going through 5 bullpen arms and still have a 2nd game to play. -

Things like that happen.

They had this for the MLB 2K8. It would be a small animation. Pretty much a game that was raining or even overcast, but as long as the game had rain you would play. Obviously the game in full but there might be a game in the fourth inning where it's a rain delay. It shows the umpires managers talking and then it has a little cut scene. You wait about a few seconds and it says the game is official because not after 5:00 so it becomes a double header in your franchise mode. Or if it's after 5 innings there's an official game you haven't ran out, but also it's after 5:00 so it's not a whole game. It was Ashley cooler things to do playing online versus your friend and the rain out and you're Ashley wanting to get a double header because you don't want to get a lost. You can play LA or a date
