Accurate statement, the timing windows has been screwed up since the show 19. When the high and inside sinker is the meta, there is a problem with the gameplay.

Zip. Zilch. Zero. For shitz and giggles I decided to try a few innings with Maddux using the cheeseball “classic” interface in an RS game. Almost the same level of command as with the meter’s “perfect release.” Half the time it feels like there’s a little force field around the strike zone keeping you from throwing a quality strike until the location roulette gremlin decides it’s time for a “perfect” meatball. This is a joke. Why not just go back to 1995 and take user input out of the equation completely? That would be infinitely less frustrating than this input abortion. It’s not like we’re having much effect on the pitch outcome anyhow. Why bother pretending any further?

You must be new here. This happens EVERY SINGLE YEAR and people still play well past the Baseball season.

Not new, just observant of what’s going on. I’m not ragging on the game, but these stupid fielding and throwing glitches need to get fixed ASAP or else people will lose interest in the game quick.

I've noticed a lot of strikes called balls and balls called strikes in my first couple franchise games, but I like it. That's life. Every umpire is different and there's no magic box in real life. Probably more frustrating in competitive online play for sure. Just my two cents.

Not only that. If I have 1 hit left to go with one game left and probably 4 at bats to make it happen...I’ll get walked or hit by pitch on at least 2 of the at bats essentially only giving me 1-2 more chances at completing
