I’m with you 100% . It also seems flipping is harder this year . If next years game is like this year , I may not play it .

Champs , I have to disagree with you on the games getting better every year . I’ve been playing for the last 4 or 5 years & really loved this game . But I think last yrs was a disappointment & this year was far worse . Reading hundreds of comments on this forum this year it seems the majority of fans think this also , except for the normal 4 or 5 people always praising the game . This yrs. Version has a lot flaws . I hope SDS does a hole lot better next time . I love baseball & I like everyone else just want to play a great game of baseball.

Sometimes I just don’t understand some of you guys that constantly stick up for SDS and this game . I started playing the Show the 1st year it came to Xbox and really, really loved it ! It took me a couple of years to get used the play mechanics. I still pretty much suck . I really like to play offline more than online against other people. But I liked that you could earn just about every card in the game . I learned how to flip cards to get the ones I couldn’t earn . But this year it seems they want everyone to pay money to get packs and cards. I’m 57 yrs. Old & disabled. ( chronic back pain after 2 failed surgery’s ) I’m on pain medication (strong) I like to play on rookie or veteran. All star & above is like a sweat fest that kills my back. Anyway I think this years game is a big disappointment to me so far . It’s not as smooth in gameplay, hitting (to me) is very inconsistent. The nerfing in XP is absolutely terrible , it feels like after a game I’ve gotten nowhere in Xp . I don’t like that you can no longer use your CAP player in DD . At least sds could let you use your CAP in DD just against the computer in mini seasons and conquest . That shouldn’t upset the players that play online. If the game keeps going this way ,l may not play after this year . But I love Baseball and that’s what keeps me going . Anyway sorry this is so long . Just my opinion .

That’s it for me too . I won’t be playing this year . On game pass I would play to see if it was worth buying. For the last 2 yrs. It hasn’t been worth it , in my opinion. When I played it on game pass I’d buy Stubbs for 75 to 100 bucks so SDS would get some money from me . Now they won’t get anything from me, unless I see the reviews are great , then I’ll wait until the game is on sale only. Besides I honestly don’t think it will improve that much the 1st yr. Being on current gen systems , especially still being on the Switch .

I’m 57 . I’m disabled. ( chronic back & hip pain , 2 bad surgeries ) . I mostly play casually . Mostly rookie or veteran against the cpu on DD or Franchise. I Love baseball . I play once in a while against people and get my [censored] beat and go back to casual. I’ve been playing The Show since the first year on Xbox. I mostly have a lot of fun, but this year’s game has been pretty frustrating at times with bad glitches, bad play mechanics and other problems. But I’m still playing & hoping it gets better.

This & other glitches have happened since the 1st day I bought this game ! The timing whenever I hit & pitch is so laggy & off it doesn’t matter how early I swing ,most of the time I’m always late in my swing ! And this is on Franchise & DD against the computer on Rookie . I’ve been playing this game for 5 yrs. & never had this much of a problem with hitting & the timing of hitting & pitching with meter is just as bad ! I’ve already had to put in 3 or more help tickets for this & other problems like moments won’t load half the time, get challenge failed message on moments , clunky frame rates , & freezing on Franchise . This game has been almost unplayable for me & so frustrating that I just can’t play it, & shut it down for a couple of days thinking when I pick it up later , it will be fixed . But no luck ! I new I should have stuck to my guns this year & not of bought it ! Come on SDS , please fix our game . Sorry about the long rant . But this is so frustrating & this is not my opinion. This is what’s happening to me in my game .

CPU hits like rookie but pitches and fields like all star or higher even on low difficulty. It’s ridiculous and could easily be fixed by tweaking sliders under the hood. The fact SDS refuses to do so tells you all you need to know. It’s done intentionally to slow the grind whether they admit to it or not.

This , and timing in hitting & pitching (meter pitching) is so off , it’s almost unplayable to me this year . This game this year has been so frustrating & not fun for me to play , that I have finally given up on playing this year and quit playing. I started playing other games & am having a lot more fun , which is too bad . I used to love this game & had a lot of fun playing it , but not last yrs game & this yrs. Version is even worse in mechanics & game play. Well , I’ve learned my lesson and won’t be buying anymore baseball games from SDS unless these issues are fixed . Good thing my Tigers are having a great season so far !!!

It does . Thank you . Wow is that stupid or what ? We work hard to get these cards and in order to get other cards in a collection they make you exchange a card in order to get other items or cards just to lose a card or cards . Well , live and learn , I guess . Thank you again . I won’t exchange my cards anymore .

I play against the cpu on rookie and veteran most of the time. I’ve struck out more times now, since the foul ball fix than ever . The timing is so off . I don’t know if they messed with the timing to fix the foul ball glitch or what. Sometimes they try to fix things and only make things worse. There is so many mechanical glitches in this game this year . Someone mentioned the runners stopping in between bases . This has been happening to me for years off and on . Not just this year. And for the people who like the foul ball fix . The better players . This might hurt you a little bit too . People that aren’t as good at online play may be worse, strike out more , not get hits , and so on . Not as many cannon fodder for the good players . They’ll get frustrated and not play. Just my opinion.

Was doing the Lou G. Program . Did the exchange with Royals players . I did Bobby Witt jr. . When I was done , l went into my card inventory, and my Bobby Witt jr. card was gone ! Just disappeared ! Has this type of thing happened to anyone else ? In mlb 21 I had 3 cards just disappear from my inventory. 1 was Harmon Killebrew l bought for 1 million Stubbs . I really like the game , but I can’t take my cards mysteriously disappearing again !!

The same thing is happening to me ! I’ve complained about this a couple of times this yr. & put in help tickets , and it’s still the same . Timeing is off and there is a delay after pushing the hit button and the pitching button on meter pitching. It’s almost unplayable , so frustrating to play the game , l hardly try to play it ! As a matter of fact, the only reason that I try to play the game is to see if this and game play has been fixed , & of course it hasn’t been fixed for me . I’m so sick of this that i might try and sell my copy & never buy another game from SDS !
