I started playing other games & am having a lot more fun , which is too bad . I used to love this game & had a lot of fun playing it , but not last yrs game & this yrs. Version is even worse in mechanics & game play. Well , I’ve learned my lesson and won’t be buying anymore baseball games from SDS unless these issues are fixed . Good thing my Tigers are having a great season so far !!!

The same thing is happening to me ! I’ve complained about this a couple of times this yr. & put in help tickets , and it’s still the same . Timeing is off and there is a delay after pushing the hit button and the pitching button on meter pitching. It’s almost unplayable , so frustrating to play the game , l hardly try to play it ! As a matter of fact, the only reason that I try to play the game is to see if this and game play has been fixed , & of course it hasn’t been fixed for me . I’m so sick of this that i might try and sell my copy & never buy another game from SDS !

That’s funny, I play on the Xbox series x and the game is almost unplayable for me online & offline this yr. . Moments only load half the time, timing & lag is terrible all of time on hitting & meter pitching in DD and Franchise against the computer, and games freeze . Haven’t been able to try anything else because I’m to frustrated getting through a game !

This happens to me all the time this year . Offline , online , it doesn’t matter ! Game is almost unplayable ! It’s the worst MLB the show I’ve ever played ! And nothing is getting fixed ! And yes I play on a Xbox series X hardwired to the internet if that matters ! I’ve never had any problems playing the show in 5 yrs I’ve been playing ! It really sucks & so frustrating !

Sorry this is happening to you too , but it sure is nice knowing it’s not just me it’s happening too . I think this is the worst game SDS has put out since I’ve been playing about 4 or 5 yrs ago . Good thing they didn’t put this on Gamepass because I would never continue to try & play it , let alone buy the broken game . SDS really needs to fix & make the game (at least make it playable) so we can enjoy it . I really didn’t like last yrs game but I would take that version of the game any day over this one . Come SDS . Please fix this game or I know I won’t be buying another baseball game from you again even though I love baseball . TripleH , I take it you’re also a Tiger fan ? They’re starting to really take off right now . Taking 2 of 3 against the Mariners , & now the 1st 2 against the White Sox . Doing pretty well so far . Go Tigers !!!

This & other glitches have happened since the 1st day I bought this game ! The timing whenever I hit & pitch is so laggy & off it doesn’t matter how early I swing ,most of the time I’m always late in my swing ! And this is on Franchise & DD against the computer on Rookie . I’ve been playing this game for 5 yrs. & never had this much of a problem with hitting & the timing of hitting & pitching with meter is just as bad ! I’ve already had to put in 3 or more help tickets for this & other problems like moments won’t load half the time, get challenge failed message on moments , clunky frame rates , & freezing on Franchise . This game has been almost unplayable for me & so frustrating that I just can’t play it, & shut it down for a couple of days thinking when I pick it up later , it will be fixed . But no luck ! I new I should have stuck to my guns this year & not of bought it ! Come on SDS , please fix our game . Sorry about the long rant . But this is so frustrating & this is not my opinion. This is what’s happening to me in my game .

I just did 3 of the moments & it actually worked . Then tried the 4th & it started to not load again . Tried 6 or 7 different moments after that & got the same thing again . Won’t load & Challenge failed ! Getting pretty peed off right now !

Anyone having problems with Moments not loading and not being able to play them ? After about 7 to 10 seconds a message pops up saying Challenge Failed ! This game is pretty much unplayable for me right now . I did submit a help ticket. Does anyone have an idea how long it takes for a problem like this to be fixed ? Thanks

When I played it on game pass I’d buy Stubbs for 75 to 100 bucks so SDS would get some money from me . Now they won’t get anything from me, unless I see the reviews are great , then I’ll wait until the game is on sale only. Besides I honestly don’t think it will improve that much the 1st yr. Being on current gen systems , especially still being on the Switch . text

Good then don't buy the game, no one will miss you. You seem to be the only one who has a problem with this game. I've been playing this game game since mlb 22 and it's just been getting better every year and I will continue to buy it when it comes out

Champs , I have to disagree with you on the games getting better every year . I’ve been playing for the last 4 or 5 years & really loved this game . But I think last yrs was a disappointment & this year was far worse . Reading hundreds of comments on this forum this year it seems the majority of fans think this also , except for the normal 4 or 5 people always praising the game . This yrs. Version has a lot flaws . I hope SDS does a hole lot better next time . I love baseball & I like everyone else just want to play a great game of baseball.

I agree with you . I hate the inconsistency of hitting when you hit the ball on the barrel of the bat and you get a real nice hit like you should . But other times when you hit the ball on same spot I get a fly ball to the infield or short flyball to the short part of the outfield. I know I’m not going to get a hit every time & that’s cool . I know the ball will be hit right to the players too , I see that & that’s ok . It just seems inconsistent. It seems like the CPU’s all have 99 speed . You can hit a nice hard hit ball in the gaps of the outfield .and it never fails , a outfielder with slow to average speed chases the ball down before getting to the fence, holding a good to average speed guy to a single . Happens a lot to me . Also not good when an infielder dives for the ball & turns a double play on runners with good to average speed .

The “idiot comment” was only about his comment about the Tigers cheating. The Tigers earned their playoff spot ! There is no proof the Tigers cheated at anything . Just because he doesn’t like Hinch and the Astros . The Tigers are very young & hopefully have a good future. And the gritty Tigers are up 2 games to 1 against a good Guardians team . Congratulations to the Detroit Tigers getting into the playoffs as a wild card !!! And maybe the division winners ! Who’d a thunk it !!!

I’m 57 . I’m disabled. ( chronic back & hip pain , 2 bad surgeries ) . I mostly play casually . Mostly rookie or veteran against the cpu on DD or Franchise. I Love baseball . I play once in a while against people and get my [censored] beat and go back to casual. I’ve been playing The Show since the first year on Xbox. I mostly have a lot of fun, but this year’s game has been pretty frustrating at times with bad glitches, bad play mechanics and other problems. But I’m still playing & hoping it gets better.

I play against the cpu on rookie and veteran most of the time. I’ve struck out more times now, since the foul ball fix than ever . The timing is so off . I don’t know if they messed with the timing to fix the foul ball glitch or what. Sometimes they try to fix things and only make things worse. There is so many mechanical glitches in this game this year . Someone mentioned the runners stopping in between bases . This has been happening to me for years off and on . Not just this year. And for the people who like the foul ball fix . The better players . This might hurt you a little bit too . People that aren’t as good at online play may be worse, strike out more , not get hits , and so on . Not as many cannon fodder for the good players . They’ll get frustrated and not play. Just my opinion.

Last night I earned my first . I picked Jimmy Rollins . I usually play 2 to 4 , 9 innings games against the computer a day . I’ve completed a few mini seasons. I’ve tried ranked a few times . I don’t really care for doing the maps very much , but I’ll do 1 or 2 if I have to . In collections , I’m up to just getting Al Leiter .
