New Patch Update

Actually believe it or not it does happen

@YOSHI24_XBL I think you're over analyzing the game. Because pitching and pitch placement theory is about to blow you away. I gave up a homerun to Tatis who had 75 power, while I had 99 Pedro on the mound. I threw a curve that hit the bottom line of the zone. Goes out to dead left at 93mph for a homer. Ruth, who has 125 power, hits a hanging splitter against Halladay at 96mph with 30 LA to dead right. Barely hits the warning track. Both swings were early if it's down the middle and hits were almost down the line. You cant tell me it's about pitch location or pitching in this instance. And i've seen this stuff more than once over the years. Just like LA at 65 degrees with the ball solely in the inner PCI goes straight up to the catcher.

Your lifetime record:
1-1 in RS, 2-7 in Battle Royale, 601-122 vs CPUIf you played more H2H you would understand how bad foul balls were, it was really a problem online. This is why the devs made the changes.

What I was saying was that it does happen in a real mlb game, I've seen it multiple times. This game is supposed to be as realistic as possible to the real mlb game

@sbchamps17_NSW
The mlb average for foul balls is around 46 combined between the teams. Now if this game it could be 46 for your opponent. I’ve scene games where it was nearing a 100 foul balls combined. That isn’t fun it’s uncalled for and makes people walk away -
@sbchamps17_NSW May want to sit this one out if you haven't played the game...

@Simple-Jack3998_XBL I am not … It is just that you cannot compare a curve down the pipe to a splitter. I am not saying that feedback is always consistent … But my statement is that you cannot compare 2 outcomes on different stuff and it does not matter who you are hitting with. You do not know if the splitter was on bad input. That is a fact. But you should know that throwing a curve down the pipe is a bad thing … Conclusion (and I will end it with that): Some people in here think, that Babe Ruth should always hit homeruns on good contact whilst others should not (I am overexaggerating, I know).
Even if you have the exact pci placements on the ball … it will and it should not, because the contact itsef is not every aspect of the outcome.
Sometimes it is luck too (that would be another thing in here … perfect-perfects are and will not always guarantee a hit) … That is baseball (and I know more about soccer ) -

since I've started playing this morning I've had 9 base runners just randomly stop in the base paths. Has anyone else had this problem. Thanks
Ok so yesterday in a MS game my runner on third randomly retreated back to the bag on a base hit to centre. I had to manually send him home but by the time I did that he was out by about 4 feet. That's the sort of nonsense I've dealt with since the update yesterday
Similar thing happened to me in an event game during the last night of S1. Base hit to RF, runner on first went back to 1st, I had to hit advance button about four times before he'd run to second which at that point he had no chance of making it.
Just had another odd one base hit to left Center…runner, completely devoid of any input from me takes off from first after the ball is in the infield. I don’t know what’s up but there’s some funky stuff up with baserunning right now

@YOSHI24_XBL It doesn't matter about the stuff. It matters about the swing timing and PCI placement. Because what you are saying is with perfect input from the pitcher, hanging splitters up the zone shouldn't be a homerun but bottom zone curves are ok. Regardless of if it's near perfect contact with 32 LA (example) and the pitcher has low confidence and even lower confidence on the pitch. I'm sure the programming in this game is not that deep into the metrics. I'm not complaining about Babe not hitting a homer. I'm complaining about the physics in the game. SDS should get rid of most of the feedback because it's irrelevant now.

I play against the cpu on rookie and veteran most of the time. I’ve struck out more times now, since the foul ball fix than ever . The timing is so off . I don’t know if they messed with the timing to fix the foul ball glitch or what. Sometimes they try to fix things and only make things worse. There is so many mechanical glitches in this game this year . Someone mentioned the runners stopping in between bases . This has been happening to me for years off and on . Not just this year. And for the people who like the foul ball fix . The better players . This might hurt you a little bit too . People that aren’t as good at online play may be worse, strike out more , not get hits , and so on . Not as many cannon fodder for the good players . They’ll get frustrated and not play. Just my opinion.

@Simple-Jack3998_XBL It will not get better no matter how much you repeat it. The game may not be perfect, but is has more than 1-2 variables to determine output … If you do not get it that your pci placement is not everything, there is no point to debate
-
@YOSHI24_XBL I know PCI placement is not everything LOL. I've complained about non-PCI homers before. But certain metrics should outweigh others.
