I agree, this is annoying, but, if we are all being honest with ourselves here, aren't we all expecting too much from SDS too fast? I mean, yeah, they can work 24/7 for 5 weeks straight, but after the 2nd or 3rd day, we are all already yelling at them to hurry up. We need to be more patient. I too wish this was fixed during the Tech Test, but it wasn't, so now we all have to wait for an update to fix this all. One more thing, I know this year has been especially bad, but EVERY game SDS has made so far has always had some bugs in it, and they have ALWAYS fixed the ones that bother the community the most, except for something that affects a gamemode nobody cares about or something. So, just give them some time, and we will all be thanking them for all the hard work they do for us, and making sure our lives playing this game are as enjoyable as possible.
No we are not expecting too much. It is not expecting too much to ask the the game works on release. This is not just a bug. It is a fundamental issue that breaks the mode and renders it basically unplayable. If this were discovered yesterday, it would still not be being too hard on them because whoever does QA should have caught it and either fixed it prior to launch or delayed the game until it was fixed. That being said, it was not discovered yesterday. It was discovered one day into early release. They had three days minimum to fix this. We are now about to be 5 full days since with no fix and no timetable of when to get one. Imagine if you bought a PS5 or Xbox on release and when you turned it on all you got was a blank screen. Then Sony or Microsoft said " we will fix at some point in the future." Would you be saying, give them a break then? No you would be demanding an immediate fix. There is no other industry I can think of that allows producers to release a broken product and expects the consumers to be okay with it and cut them slack while they take their sweet time fixing it.
