Ballplayer Progress not counting
-
OK this is just ridiculous. Anyone else having their progress towards their ballplayer just not counting?? I literally started playing RTTS because the servers are absolute trash and kept disconnecting me right after I'd beat a game in DD. And now it's not even counting my PA, assists, putouts and XBH at all. Like it went from counting about half of the games from each series in RTTS earlier today to not counting any now, of course when I'm doing the best. This is a joke, get your stuff together SDS!
-
same here

Having the same issue as well. It’s got to be fixed. Perks are going to be very important this year for RTTS especially if your trying to get called up. Just grinding out games is not working for me I’ve only managed to get to a 63 overall and I’m in August in Triple A. Not to mention training gives you really nothing at all. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next patch.
-
I just checked my progress for the sparkplug perk, it says I’ve only got 25 hits with sparkplug.. but i have like 85 hits on the season and I only use sparkplug?? What the heck? Anybody else having this issue?
-
Yeah same issue. I just got through having a 6 at bat game with 2 stolen bases. At the end of the game: zero progress towards programs. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I paid extra money to quality test the game. It must save time for the in house person who gets paid to do that job.

They are a small team. Sounds like they had issues with money transactions on peoples accounts that will take precedence everytime over a fake character career.
It is obviously a bug sometimes bugs take while to figure out. Play something else and try to unlock things that will help with your character down the road. I know this isn't what people want to hear but "[censored] Happens" they didn't do this on purpose.

The problem is every mode is having issues, not just RTTS. Like the server issues are out of control even in DD offline. People play a 20 min game and then it's "oops sorry none of it counted and also this possibly completely effed up whatever mode you were doing like Showdown, Conquest, etc.". They've designed it (like many developers are still doing which is a mistake) by making it so even offline modes require constant connection to the servers. So it's not minor issues.. it's major design flaws and a completely f*cked infrastructure.

They charged us money for early access. If it was not ready for launch then they should not have charged money to play it early. I expect the things I pay for to be working. If there were just a few bugs I would be fine. But to charge people to play a game where the core of the game mode is not functional? That is unacceptable and there is no excuse.
-
Same issues here. No progress is being made in RTTS so it’s really hard to rank up.

The thing is core game was working. It wasn't until update that progression broke so it was ready for early release. Just something didn't jive with update. There is no way anybody couldv'e known update was gonna break it. And i assure you they didn't do it on purpose.
-
I don't think they did it on purpose. But it wasn't the update. Progress wasn't working before the update. From the midnight release it was not working.

Mine was perfect b4 update.

Did you guys link to your the show account online, because I noticed that my progress wasn’t being recorded after I did that, but I unlinked it and it started recording it again

I'm ps4 only no reason to link it. Attributes update the way they are supposed to. I'ts the reward tree that isn't progressing or tasks whatever it's called. But i put a ticket in just waiting for response.
-
I’m saying that you SHOULDNT link it. Because it stopped recording progress when I did it and started again when I unlinked it. I’m PlayStation only too, but I’ve had an Xbox in the past

Yep. I just ran through Showdown. I beat it. Do I get the voucher? F no. Due to server issues. I earned that voucher. No such luck. This isnt a good look for SDS. They are better than this.

That is the problem. Attributes have increased the way they are supposed to from day one. The program progress has not worked properly since early access began. That is the main issue. And the way the game is designed, program progression is a key component. It not working makes the game basically unplayable.

Umm it’s called beta testing before launching an update. They failed.

How do you know they didn't? Because you didn't get invited or because you didn't participate in it so therefore in your mind it never got tested? I feel like at this point people are just here to complain.

before release they mainly focus testing on gameplay i.e. hitting, pitching and fielding. The programs and other stuff in game they must not test at all bc they manage to have the same issues over and over
