Anyone else want to see more controller setting optimization in this game? Stick sensitivity, dead zone settings, and custom button layouts? This can't be that difficult to implement and feels like it would be a legitimate quality of life improvement

Yeah wait why is this not a thing? Why wouldn't the game allow 120FPS if it is being released for next gen consoles that run optimally at 120 frames?

Edit: Did they make this comment on stream and explain why?

Given that it is 2022, and most games have finally adopted the option to fine tune your sensitivity settings and button options to optimize gameplay (see fortnite, apex legends etc.), is there a chance we can get PCI sensitivity options this year? Not all of us play with dual shocks or dual senses. Some of us use different stick tensions and heights and controllers with paddles and buttons that we may want to utilize in this game.

I think it would be an amazing addition to the game and I can't imagine a reason not to have it aside from laziness?

No I don't think so, but it CAN be abused.

Honestly, it works. Are you worried about your opponent cheesing you with step offs and replays and bunt cheese and R2 cheese etc? Trust me this works. First HR your opponent hits, replay it. It is funny and self-deprecating and creates a weird form of comradery. Had someone do it to me and i instantly laughed out loud and proceeded to have a very fun game of replaying each others' dingers all game.

may not work everytime, but might just save you from a bs troll opponent.

who cares though? Someone dashboards you lose a measly HR stat, but you just got a W instead of having to play out 3-4 more innings where comeback logic may come and bite you in the [censored].

Fernando Rodney has thrown a sinker his entire career and greinke has thrown some sort of sinker/2-seamer the entire latter half of his career (largely due to his dip in velocity, his 2-seamer likely has some dip in it that previously was non-existent)

the same way you would in anything. by making adjustments.

If you're at a firing range and you are aiming center mass but missing in a cluster down to the left of the target. If you don't have the appropriate tools to re-calibrate your iron sights, your only option is to either aim up and to the right or foolishly continue to aim center mass and then complain that your gun isn't shooting straight.

PCI feedback window is also based on timing. so unless your timing is perfect your PCI will be above / below where your placement was due to the fact that its showing you where your pci was at the point of contact not where you placed it in the zone. So I THINK if you are early, your PCI feedback will be above your placement because it registered it on the way up from where you swung and if you are late it will be below slightly.

I personally LOVE the creativity that choosing SPs and being able to use SPs in relief brings. If ranked seasons is going to have an ELO system AND Skill Based Matchmaking AND RNG AND DDA, you bet your a** I am going to use everything in my power to win and that's how it should be. Every single game is do or die, but also when a Starter throws 90+ pitches, it should take them 3.5+ games to be able to reach max energy. And hte energy should slowly build back, not in large chunks. The first two days after pitching, the pitcher should gain ZERO energy back because realistically your arm is not recovered at all yet, it is repairing all the damage.

Conquest is the most boring game mode ever invented. Not only do you play the CPU on Veteran, the RNG of the simulation is crazy. I can have 20m fans to the CPU 5 fans and end up with 3 left over. Other times i can have 2M to CPU 10 and come out and win. Don't get me started when I lose a simulation and the CPU takes back all of the progress I just made because they have a spot at 15-20M fans and win all of my vs 1M fans. The less conquest the better.

He is proposing it as an additional item to team affinity. Not tying you to your gaming chair and forcing you to painstakingly simulate

who cares. My options are to grind for 48 hours worth of showdown games, get lucky in packs, grind out battle royale runs, or work for what 4 hours at my normal job to get 150k stubs? Opportunity cost says I am better off just buying the cards i want to play with than painstakingly grind for stubs

you guys were all facing people who were sweating their hardest trying to make WS on the last day. Don't get discouraged, every game has to have a loser
