First off, I want to say thank you for the 16 years I have enjoyed playing The Show, except maybe the start of 2018 when we couldn’t choose our starting team in RTTS. There have been some ups and downs but I have always enjoyed it.

However, I think this might be my last year. Not threatening or anything, it just appears I’m getting to old for the game being almost a 6o yr. old gamer. I could never use the pci. My mind only has enough time to figure out timing and whether it’s a strike or not and sometimes not even enough time for that. I have never been able to use it. So, I can never do the online missions or mission difficulty beyond all-star because the pci shrinks so much. I am not much of a DD player being mostly a rtts player but I do like to do a lot of the missions, conquest, and event stuff but too much of it involves playing online and I can’t do it. I just get creamed by everyone and can never advance. I do get addicted to opening packs lol, probably nostalgia from doing it so much when I was a kid. I would never ask for a game to be dumbed down and I am not. Just pointing out my own personal reasons.

But, on to the main issue.

I love RTTS. Every year I would create 3-4 players. All with different looks, names, personalities etc. I always did a power guy, a contact speedster, a starting pitcher, and sometimes a closer. I enjoyed developing them through their career and establishing them as the top in their position. But you have taken all this away. I can’t even make one with a different name or change how they look or anything due to your push towards making everyone play DD. As a RTTS player I still bought stubbs because I wanted the gear for them and like I said, I get addicted to opening packs. There was no need for this push. And speaking of pushing, I wish the game would stop asking me if I wanted to be a two position player. Leave me alone and let me play the game I want to play. Sorry, little rant there. I just get frustrated when I ask myself, Is anyone at SDS a true gamer or have they all forgotten what it’s like to be a gamer and enjoy playing, creating your character, and developing them? You have taken all this away from me and made it all very generic and because of that I do not think I can continue. I will just go back a few years and play that one over and over again.

I really doubt this will fall upon any ears or if any would agree with me, but it’s my 2 cents.

In addition, just some side notes..
You need a way to be able to call your agent instead of waiting for his yearly one call.

I do not understand this double stat thing and see no purpose for it. Why are they 30-50 but then on my card everything goes to 100 and there seems to be no correlation. 40 speed might be 93 speed but 40 contact might only be 75 contact. It makes zero sense.

Check swings, annoying. I mash the button and get nothing but a check swing, usually only on curveballs and change ups. Add in feature to disable them. I like the realism but when it’s not working its needs to be able to be shut off.

I'm with you. I have tried about 6-7 times to do showdowns and have not been able to win one of them.

I bought stubs from in the game, money has been taken from my bank account and nothing in game. exited the game and came back and still nothing.

I appreciate them trying to add new stuff in but tis was definitely the wrong approach in my opinion. Maybe add things like something to spend your salary on like buying a nice house and some cars and bling. Definitely building up a trophy room so you can admire all your trophy's. They could even add extras in to the packs to help generate some extra revenue.

The more depth and the more development of my players the better. Makes me feel more involved with their progression.

Them stating they are just laying the foundation of what to come is scarier. Means it could get worse but I will have hope.

I just wish you could adjust the trade slider and not lose experience. I want to play the game with the guys on my favorite team but by the time I get there they have all been traded. Also, at least for me, the team I with always seem to trade all the gold and above players no matter what team I play for so by the time I get to the mlb it is a junk team of players with no one I know or want to play with.
