I just hate the fact that they force-fed me cards to use. If this trend continues, I will use cards I don't want to use all game long.

Play the handful of more games against Xbox players and did not have that problem so I'm guessing it was just that connection. I usually like pointing out when people have conversations with themselves. So here I am!

Just to be clear, all your ballplayers share the stuff you've already unlocked. You can't just keep creating them and spamming the xp. So yeah, you'll have to create a new one at catcher but all the archetypes and perks you have will be there. Once you complete a path, it's completed for good.

But from what I understood from the SDS Developer Streams is that we can create up to 10 Cap's & All the XP will be counted only once per position created. So if we create a Catcher & go thru the path for that Cather & earn all the rewards in that path, along with all the XP along the way. Then do the same when I complete each path with a CAP for 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF, SP & CL and getting each of them to Diamond level..... However If we were to create a 2nd Catcher, then at that moment he will not get any path rewards because they were all already consumed when we created our 1st Catcher & completed the path.

I don't think that's right. The archetypes apply to several different positions each, and once you max out an archetype path -- bronze, silver, gold, diamond, diamond + -- that path is done for good. You can still create a new player and load it with what you've unlocked. The caveat is that the attributes you accrue through gameplay won't be there, so your player will be a lower OVR even if you have a diamond archetype with 4 diamond perks.

I played this game a few days ago on my buddy's XBOX whatever the next Gen console is and he has great internet, the Lag was awful. Felt like playing the Matrix.

Admittedly, this was only once that I've seen this so it could have just been a bad window of time but I actually found it to be way harder mainly because I hate the way an Xbox controller feels in my hand after using PS for a while. I know, I'm like from the Stone Age learning about video games.

Simple explanation. Xbox users have had less input lag online for a year. Now PS5 users can too, but SDS screwed the pooch so we can’t. But we are hoping they unscrew. The pooch is tired and abused.

Of course not. I knew nothing about the Astros until my google search. Did you know the Astrodome was considered the 8th wonder of the world and I they actually entered the league the same year as the Mets?

Of course. 1962 as the Houston Colt 45's who played at Colt Stadium. The Astrodome is still standing BTW right next to NRG where the Texans play.

Don't get me wrong The Big unit looks good and all but I have zero thought of even spending real money tonight to try to get any of these collections done. Frank Thomas is a great hitter but he is a first baseman that will be a dime a dozen in a couple weeks and Roberto Clemente is a cool overall card but last year it played awful seeing as it's power or nothing in this game. He might be better at the beginning of the game cycle with the lower end pitchers but I have absolutely no reason to not be no money spent as of now and I hate saying that because I usually spend a little bit of money but I don't see a reason to right now. I'm interested to see where the extra inning boss cards come into play since we don't have any bosses this year there has to be other programs or more event rewards or something down the line to make up for those extra 30 cards of inning bosses we are losing out on. That is if they do team affinity the same way all year as they are in the first couple programs.

None of the 3 give me a real itch to get grinding / get them done ASAP….I wanted chipper and Mickey mantle BAD the last 2 years.
