Are the hyperlink cards tied to one season? I don't understand how Adrian Beltres hyper series qualifies yet Edmonds card doesn't. I wish they would make using captains easier.

they stopped properly showing stats about 3 years ago. They never gave an explanation as to why they did that many believe they did it bc whenever anyone would get into an argument on here they would quickly check your record and if you didn't have a good one ppl would mess with you.

pitcgers stamina completely broken: Definitely broken. Shouldn't be able to throw a CG with 100+ pitches and still have 50% stamina left. Seems to be an issue with PPP.

And to add what i think is one of the worst things in the game is the amount of time outfielders take to throw the ball in EVERY situation. As someone who played outfield
It really grinds my gears when i see these guys doing a 180 turn into a crow hop then wind up for the throw. It makes singles into doubles, makes playing angles a mute point, and really makes everyone the same as long as there arm aren’t horrible like Mullins for example. Also the tagging is very stupid.

The biggest thing is the consistency it’s like every game requires different timing windows. If the speed were consistent doesn’t matter how fast ppl
would adjust in time but we all know this isn’t the case unfortunately.

I think PPP has widened the skill gap but not in a way that it should. 80% accuracy with perfect release still allows players to dot corners with ease which means you better be an elite hitter to compete. Average hitters that are patient or have a good eye get punished by average PPP pitchers more than average PPP pitchers get punished by good hitters.

On the flipside I am also dotting like never before but I agree PPP has been too easy I will say after the patch it’s been a bit harder but as soon as you have the motion down it’s easy to get green and blues. I know they wanted to answer for offspeed being bad last year and tbh I think PAR was the best addition since you can see where the ball is going to go. But it is what it is hopefully they make PPP harder

Jeter's top card will have common defense? The dude got 5 golden gloves and some of his highlights were defensive plays. His top card would have max contact and 80s power.

Here we go again. Jeter was garbage defensively from every single metric. A Shortstop that should have moved off SS 12-15 years before he did because of his hitting reputation..

Jeter's range was absolutely brutal.

As someone who grew up watching all of jeters career even seeing him play a lot I can say without a doubt the metrics don’t paint the real picture. I get the numbers say he sucked but Jeter was so consistent, no he wouldn’t make plays like José Iglesias, Rey Ordóñez, Ozzie Smith, A Simmons to name a few but you also never held your breath when the ball was hit to him. Plus since he always went all out you would get those highlight plays that everyone loved.

as someone who lived in Jacksonville for 2 years i felt that statement. Like get it straight I’m not from there just passing by jville is another level of crazy lol

It happens man I’m on the same boat this season. Hits don’t fall, you get frustrated, start chasing and being late, and the best your opponent always seems to get the perfect breaks. It’s a vicious cycle my friend

it helps especially in hof & legend where pci is smaller. I have seen plenty of contact swing hrs and even I have used it in tight situations. they seemed to have nerfed the exit velo a bit but they still need to tune it down more

It doesn’t happen all the time but it happens enough to where it affects the outcome of plenty of games. I just played the worst game this year so far check this out.

This was with 2 outs in the 1st w runners on 1st and 3rd which he got on base by a late grounder and a bloop single.

Here are some more examples of what happened during the middle innings he was able to score 5 more runs on these exact kind of hits

Cut to the late innings it’s 6-6 he has 2 outs and leaves A Chapman to bat down 2 strikes he gets a hit on a ball that he didn’t even touch with his pci which leads to a buxton 2 run homerun. Cut to the 9th I’m down 9-7 bases loaded 2 outs and games ends on a good/good warning track shot. THIS IS NOT FUN. At this point this is starting to feel worse than 17 with just late be great bc this is no matter the timing just swing [censored]. Unfortunately this is the [censored] we are stuck with until they make a new engine cardinal bird was right this is like putting lipstick on a pig at this point.

Just got a ps5 yesterday everything was fine until now when I tried to go into rtts and it shows that I don't have any save file for it even though my player shows up on the top left as normal. I have to go into the ps4 version of the game within the ps5 to be able to access any save files. Not sure how to fix this.

No, it really doesn’t. What you perceive to be “on time” means that, mostly, the ball is going to go straight. Early means you’ll pull the ball. Late means you’ll push the ball the other way. There are other factors, i.e. pitch speed, bat angle, etc. but ultimately, swinging early or late isn’t a bad thing. I intentionally swing late against the shift. It’s a good way to get doubles.

There are balls that bloop for hits or land just out of reach on pitches that shouldn’t have been swung at, but that happens in real life plenty.

What you just mentioned is what early side of good and Late side of good represent. You wanna be on the later side of good on a outside pitch just like you wanna be on the earlier side of good on an inside pitch. Late means you go beat plain and simple and early means your out in front. It’s just like irl if your beat on a pitch your not driving it with authority. If your out in front your not consistently blasting it fair.

lol so how do hitters in real life hit line drives opposite field? this is idiotic.
late, good, and early are just labels across a continuum but in any case the bat is finding the ball and it if hits it just right then its gonna go hard somewhere.

Have you every played baseball irl? There is a huge difference in letting the ball travel and going oppo and being late & beat. Within the game the later side of good contact represents letting the ball travel just like the early side of Good represents pulling a pitch. Show me a batter being beat inside and driving it hard the other way.

They have been hiding it more and more for a couple years now i don’t think they want ppl to know there record in a sports game lol

it looks like everyone is swinging like Giancarlo Stanton this year the way swings finish. Wonder what was the purpose behind it seems very weird to see guys like babe have that animation

I was at 35 wins and now it shows up as if there’s no event. Is this happening to anyone else?

I can turn on normal fastballs but 102 is a different sorry I’m either late or very late no matter what adjustment
