I sure hope that you folks are keeping the beautiful stadium exteriors of the ballparks. It's something that I not only love, but, adds such an authentic feel to the game. They look just great! I hope you can tell me before the release of the game. I'm not going to purchase until I know.

Chances are... If they're not in the game... I may just keep playing The Show 24 and forget about this year's release. Thanks for your time in this matter. I still play the Show. I've been playing Sony Baseball games since they were under the banner of 989 Sports.... So long ago.

Why is it that no matter what team that my DD team plays -- the display always shows Baltimore vs Boston? For example, my team was playing the Cubs in Wrigley Field but, the beautiful new display you folks created (the display that drops down from above during the game), ALWAYS SHOWS BALTIMORE VS BOSTON --- EVERY F#@KING GAME! Are you folks going to fix that, it's been that way ever since release day?

Another thing that really irritates me about DD is that you're always giving us these trash cards for 5 stubs! You should make it possible for us to sell every card! Every year, I'm stuck with a bunch of TRASH CARDS THAT DO NOTHING BUT TAKE UP SPACE & TIME!

There's a lot that I love about The Show -- but, in the future -- you think that you folks can get this game polished before release? As it stands right now -- next year -- I'm probably not buying!

I've been playing the Captain's Edition of The show 23 on PS5 since early access and I couldn't be happier. I love all the new changes that have been made to the game.

1. The crack of the bat sounds better this year. I really appreciate the seamless flow of the ball leaving the bat to its intended destination. It looks great, just like in real life!

2. The Stadium exteriors were the main reason I purchased the game this year. I remember seeing them when The Show ported over to PS4. At that time, I was still on the PS3. The next year, I had switched over to the PS4 and they were gone! I've been patiently awaiting their return and the Yankee Stadium exteriors that I've seen - one at sunset and one in the evening are just beautiful! Please LEAVE THEM IN THE GAME!

3. I've only played one episode of the Negro Leagues at present, but I had a lot of fun playing the Satchel Page episode. I'm a little curious as to where those cards wind up. I could not find my Satchel Page card in the Free Agents. Will they become available when I create my DD team?

4. The new baserunning is okay, I guess. Glad to have played through Spring Training, because in the beginning - it cost me a lot of runs and caused a lot of outs. However, I'm getting used to it.

5. The only downside, at least for me is that the commentary seems to be a lot of what we had last year. The same "two suit story" from Chris Singleton. The same Bo Jackson story from John. I'm only 7 games into my 2023 franchise, but ready to turn the commentary off as I'm already burned out from hearing all this stuff from last year.

I don't expect others to agree with this post, but I'm very happy with this year's edition. So, once again, thank you Sony San Diego Studios.

Hello everyone. I could use some help on a couple of things:

1. I don't understand what "linking my account" means. Do I need to do this to carry over to PS5 from PS4?

2. I've been playing a Franchise on PS4 since MLB 22 launched. I received a PS5 today, and I want to know if my franchise, stubs and player cards will carry over. I also purchased a PS5 version of the Show 22 in case I have to start over.

It is my understanding that even if I insert my PS4 version of the show into my PS5, that I WILL NOT be able to create a stadium for my DD team. I will have to use the PS5 version. The more I think about it, I should probably scrap my PS4 version and just begin anew on the PS5.
Any information will surely help & be appreciated. Thank you for your time in this matter.

Thanks for the reply. First year in DD. Been a Franchise player in Sony Baseball games since the PS1 days. Do you remember Jerry Coleman giving the play by play on the PS1 game? I sure do. That's how long I've been around these games.

Glad to know that Johnson will get a better card. He deserves it. I did not know that it was his rookie card. I saw that and I was pretty shocked. Thanks for letting me know. So, just when will Johnson's belter card come out? Anybody know?

I hate to sound critical because I love the game, and have been enjoying Diamond Dynasty. However, there are a couple of points that I want to touch on:

1. The ratings on some of the cards is either not accurate, or leads me to believe that whoever is rating the players has no idea of baseball history. Bear in mind that I'm only using players as an example. I am not in any way trying to degrade or disrespect any one.
   A case in point:
   A Diamond 93 Orlando Hernandez and a Diamond 91 Walter Johnson? Are you serious? I mean, come on already! Who's the person (with no sense of history), behind that one?
   I am a Yankee fan, and I liked Hernandez, I thought he was a good pitcher, but he wasn't a great pitcher. Just the fact that Johnson won 417 games, warrants a higher rating card than 91. He's the second most winning pitcher... all time! Coupled with the fact that he played for the Washington Senators... probably the worst team in baseball history, make his statistics even more astounding!
   Walter Johnson had 12 - 20 game winning seasons... ten of those in a row! He also had 3,508 strikeouts, and 110 shutouts (that's 1st all time SDS), and yet he only rates a 91 Diamond? He deserves at least a 98 or 99 card like Christy Mathewson. How many other pitchers are you rating at 99 that don't even come close to Johnson's statistics? Not only inaccurate, but completely ridiculous! You people pride yourselves on making this an accurate baseball simulation... okay, let's get it right and give the man his due! He was every bit as good as Mathewson, but he was pitching for the wrong team. Give Johnson a higher Diamond number so people can post it in the Marketplace (that SDS should be handling), for an absurd amount of stubs that people can't afford!

This leads me to the second point:
2. There aren't enough players from the early days; such as Grover Cleveland Alexander, Mordecai (three finger) Brown, Rube Waddell (okay, he was a lunatic), and Carl Hubbell.
Looking in the Marketplace... there's not that many Diamond left handed relievers to choose from. Did I miss the Steve Carlton card, or does one not exist yet?
Other than what I touched on... the game is great! Give us the option to set up different lineups for LHP & RHP in DD.

Shoeless Joe Jackson & The Yankee Clipper Joe DiMaggio... two different players. Two different eras.
Hey Poksey - brush up on your baseball history - DiMaggio is more of a legend than Minoso. How many World Series was Minoso in? He played in the 1947 World Series, and never made it in the Hall Of Fame. DiMaggio helped the Yankees win the World Series in 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1941, 1947, 1949, 1950, and 1951. So, in the future, get your S**t straight before you take me on.

I see there is a Milestone Card for a player with a 30 game hitting streak. Why not a Milestone Card for DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak? That record has stood since 1941! My point is the lack of F**king logic going into the creation of these cards!

Finally - it's not about who played on the same F**king team or not! It's not about the same era or not! The reason for my post was the fact that there are no player cards or programs for DiMaggio or Sandy Koufax. Both are Hall of Famers! DiMaggio in 1955 & Sandy Koufax in 1972.

Why don't we have the opportunity to set lineups for LHP or RHP in DD? In playing against the CPU... we never see who the opposing SP is until just before the game.

Does this option exist already, and I just don't see it? I am not that well versed in DD, and when I do play it... it is usually against the CPU.

Having one lineup, and having to sub players during the game just doesn't cut it. Having that multiple options like in Franchise Mode insures that even bench players are getting use.

I just completed the Robin Roberts Player Program, but did not receive the 95 Diamond Robin Roberts Card. Am I missing something here?

Usually, when I complete all the moments within a specific program, I am awarded the player card for that program. Not so here! The progress chart shows that I am still some extra points shy of obtaining the card. It's like..."so close, but so far away."

Are more moments coming for that program? I think you all should put yourselves in the shoes of the consumer/player and realize that it's pretty tough going through all that work to obtain a card and not get it! I received all the other awards leading up to the card, but no Robin Roberts.
What about a Grover Cleveland Alexander card one of these days.

I may have missed it, but, I can't remember ever seeing a Joe DiMaggio card, or program. The same with Sandy Koufax. True, Sandy Koufax didn't pitch that many years, but, when he did... he was one of the most dominant left handed SP the game has seen!

I see there is a Minnie Minoso card, but no Joe D? Where's the logic there? I hope you can at least come up with a 42 card or something better. Hopefully a 95 Diamond would be great. Even the "greatest hitter" (Ted Williams) said that Joe D was a better hitter than Willie Mays. He said that Mays has more power, but Joe was the better all around hitter.

How about a 90+ Diamond Milestone Card to commemorate the 56 game hitting streak? That would be pretty cool!

A side note: The Field Of Dreams Program and stadium are awesome! Great job SDS!

I am unable to play any franchise games. I keep getting error code CE-34878-0 after the game introduction, just before the teams hit the field. The game keeps crashing. I was able to play a DD game earlier, after the first error. I then tried to play franchise 3 more times and received the error code. I'm really confused and frustrated about this. The system & game are updated. I did play the game last night and it ran great.
I just played a franchise game in MLB 20, and that game is not crashing. In fact, I've also played the following games while in the middle of this post, and none of these are crashing either!
MLB 20 The Show
Red Dead Redemption 2
Jurassic World Evolution
Call Of Duty: Cold War Black OPS

That's not all my games, but enough to see if the problem was "universal."
I hate to complain, but, I spent $109.27 for this game to play franchise, and for the choice packs & hat. Franchise is the main reason I buy the game at all! Diamond Dynasty isn't important to me. I have only recently begun to play it off & on. If I can't play franchise, then the game is pretty much -- worthless to me.

In the event that I have to re-install the game, what happens then? Will I lose all my diamond cards that I spend money & stubs for? I'll try to rebuilding the database to see if that solves it.

I was reading something to that extent. I can't believe it! I don't have a PS5 yet, but I am planning to get one. I am really shocked to hear this and very disappointed too. I always imported my music into the PS4 version and never had any issues. Hard to believe that a $500.00 console doesn't have that feature. I find to not only be a big letdown, but I also think it completely sucks!

I would really appreciate some help with this. I am really confused about what to do.
I received the Jackie Robinson Deluxe Edition today. Currently, I only have a PS4, but plan to get a PS5 when they become more readily available. I haven't used the code on the voucher yet. In fact, I am scared to do until I get a PS5. I'm worried that if I use the code now, when I do get a PS5, I won't be able to use it then. I don't really care about the 25,000 stubs or the packs right now because I usually play offline franchise. Only recently, have I been delving into DD. I don't mind waiting to get the stubs and packs right now.
So, my question is:
Should I wait until I get a PS5 to use the voucher code or can I use it now without risk of losing the PS5 entitlement?
Any help is welcomed & appreciated. Thank you & Happy Gaming on The Show!

Anybody else preorder from Walmart and are still waiting on 4/16/2021?
I usually preorder form my neighborhood GameStop. I went there on 4/12//2021 and was unable to order the Jackie Robinson Deluxe Edition for $99.95. The store I went to said they were not excepting anymore orders. The term he used was: "They've shut us down." Most likely, the store only had so many in stock to sell and had no more.

I was able to preorder from Walmart, and the site said: "arrives by 4/16/2021. I didn't expect miracles ordering so late in the day, but, for a total of $109.27 - you would think that they would have shipped before 4/16/2021. Not set to arrive until 4/19/2021.

So much for early access, but at least I was able to order one. The Sony site was sold out!

The reward part of the download never went through. I was able to Tech Test, but never received the reward. Wasn't the reward supposed to be some kind of pack?
