    Hello SDS,
I hate to sound critical because I love the game, and have been enjoying Diamond Dynasty. However, there are a couple of points that I want to touch on:

    1. The ratings on some of the cards is either not accurate, or leads me to believe that whoever is rating the players has no idea of baseball history. Bear in mind that I'm only using players as an example. I am not in any way trying to degrade or disrespect any one.
      A case in point:
A Diamond 93 Orlando Hernandez and a Diamond 91 Walter Johnson? Are you serious? I mean, come on already! Who's the person (with no sense of history), behind that one?
I am a Yankee fan, and I liked Hernandez, I thought he was a good pitcher, but he wasn't a great pitcher. Just the fact that Johnson won 417 games, warrants a higher rating card than 91. He's the second most winning pitcher... all time! Coupled with the fact that he played for the Washington Senators... probably the worst team in baseball history, make his statistics even more astounding!
Walter Johnson had 12 - 20 game winning seasons... ten of those in a row! He also had 3,508 strikeouts, and 110 shutouts (that's 1st all time SDS), and yet he only rates a 91 Diamond? He deserves at least a 98 or 99 card like Christy Mathewson. How many other pitchers are you rating at 99 that don't even come close to Johnson's statistics? Not only inaccurate, but completely ridiculous! You people pride yourselves on making this an accurate baseball simulation... okay, let's get it right and give the man his due! He was every bit as good as Mathewson, but he was pitching for the wrong team. Give Johnson a higher Diamond number so people can post it in the Marketplace (that SDS should be handling), for an absurd amount of stubs that people can't afford!

This leads me to the second point:
    2. There aren't enough players from the early days; such as Grover Cleveland Alexander, Mordecai (three finger) Brown, Rube Waddell (okay, he was a lunatic), and Carl Hubbell.
Looking in the Marketplace... there's not that many Diamond left handed relievers to choose from. Did I miss the Steve Carlton card, or does one not exist yet?
Other than what I touched on... the game is great! Give us the option to set up different lineups for LHP & RHP in DD.
Thank you for your time and consideration

Thinking it might be your first year (like me last year). A 99 Walter will be coming out this year. Also, they don’t have the rights to every player that played.

    1. Thats el Duque's best card. Walter Johnson's is just his rookie card. He will get a 99
#2. Rights. They have to negotiate players rights individually if they aren't active in the league

The Walter Johnson card you mentioned is from his rookie season in 1907. The Hernandez card is a prime card and will be the best card he gets. You're comparing one players worst card with another players best card. Johnson will get a 99 at some point just like he has in the past.

This. Not near my console, but pretty sure its walter’s rookie card and Orlando’s prime. Meaning, in Johnson’s rookie year, maybe his stats justified a 91 and Hernandez at his very best was a 95.

Johnson will have a 99. He will throw gas and will strike a ton of people out, if you can put up with his wind up. Might be easiest to just walk the leadoff to speed up his delivery,

Thanks for the reply. First year in DD. Been a Franchise player in Sony Baseball games since the PS1 days. Do you remember Jerry Coleman giving the play by play on the PS1 game? I sure do. That's how long I've been around these games.

Glad to know that Johnson will get a better card. He deserves it. I did not know that it was his rookie card. I saw that and I was pretty shocked. Thanks for letting me know. So, just when will Johnson's belter card come out? Anybody know?

I don’t think anyone knows exactly when. He wasn’t amazing last year, but this year?.. He’s gonna be utterly ridiculous.

I thought he was amazing last year. Went like 12-1 with a sub 2 era with the prestige version. Can't wait to see what he's like with pinpoint

Just want to touch on one thing OP. Pitcher wins are the most useless statistic/record kept in baseball.

the "they dont have the rights to a player " is old and tired excuse they make a [censored] ton of money off of us and there is no reason for them not to have the rights for someone in this day and age and if a certian player is being greedy let us know
if u played in the league you should be in the games mandatory and this bs of who need more money is just greedy from both sides and we the fans are the ones who miss out

99 Big Train was my favorite pitcher last year. He will get another 99 this year.

Carl Hubbell, (along with Mel Ott) is someone I have asked for a couple times now, and every time there is a survey.
