Strongly agree with most of whats been said here. Its actually refreshing that there are so many people liking and sharing their similar gripes as opposed to what you see on alot of forums like this, fanboys, undercover interns etc dismissing valid concerns and or defending the game as some beacon of perfection.

Hitting is ABYSMAL. Particularly as others have said for offline low difficulty players. I get that there have been years where EVERYTHING is a homerun and no one wants that either. But this is the opposite extreme and its just as bad, if not worse.

It is almost enough to make it unplayable just on this issue alone. I almost made a thread last night about this. Putting aside how unrealistic AND just flat out boring it is, the reason I almost made the thread was when I realized the insane amount of extra time it wastes of the user. Non stop [censored], a good amount of walks, and a few HBP add up.

I was playing literally from around lunch time til the end of the night yesterday and I swear i really only got in about half the games youd think because of it. Not to mention in trying to grind pxp and missions, this isn't helping. Like, at all.

Do you realize how sad it would be if it becomes better on xbox? Didnt this game start out as a sony exclusive for the longest? It should work fine on every platform but IF one is gonna be better/worse, youd not expect this outcome imo. Lol

I thought the chick saying it would take an hour or two was funny ( in hindsight) after i turned off the console and went to bed without ortiz, after also spending extra to get larry walker to speed this up. Had to be like 8 hours (on and off) and like 5k stubs spent and im still like half the pxp short for LR hitters. Lol

I havent played in several days, maybe closer to a week, decided to come back and give it another try. Spent half my stubs (due in part to really already being disinterested in the game, why bother saving?) on a few high priced reds to help me with the elly program, games the same.

Opponents gold or below fielders are all prime HOF gold glovers, my diamonds or p5 high level golds all have to dive to have a chance at even stopping the ball, let alone get an out. Wheres all the cool seamless rocket arm cross body animations the cpus fielders get?

Pitchers still throw ball after ball after ball or perfectly dot corners.

The experience vs the cpu is almost unusable and truly feels like the cpu is cheating. Far from fun. Smh so disappointing.

@IrishFist412_MLBTS exact same. Never care when i lose. Just fun.

@trfatboy22_PSN you have to cycle teams. No one cares if its sorted by overall on each individual unnecessary page. The only way to quickly know what cards you do or dont have is to either search by name, OR, cycle through endless pages.

Its extremly cumbersome for no reason. In madden, you can just look at all your cards on one page, sort by newest or overall and quickly find relevant and cards worth selling. Just for ONE example.

@Blind_Bleeder_PSN gotcha, thanks. Thats one thing I've always been confused by the show. Always giving you multiple options for whoch account to link or use to login.

@Blind_Bleeder_PSN how does that work? I might even grab an xbox if you can transfer progress. I have a ps5 in the living room and a ps4 pro in the bedroom which i never use. Might sell/trade it and pay the difference for an xbox for games like this.

Aaaaand I lost. Lol this is after plowing through the map with no problem. Suddenly in the stadium game mysteryious offline lag makes pitching inpossible and I have zero rewards to show for that time spent. This is why I dont mess with DQ. Lol

@A_PerfectGame_PSN i came to this conclusion in mut a year or two ago. I fear all sports (and probably most fps that can, the ones that cant yet are working on it) games will be heavily rng and sbmm etc to keep everything "close" and keep casuals spending money from now on unless something changes. Sad.

Three strikeouts, no walks, no hits. Not a big ask right? EVERY time youre on third batter, and hes down to his last strike, oops, try again? Nah.

Lol all of this games "moments" would qualify as "extreme" challenges. Manny in his prine cant walk in and hit two homers, get 5 RBI, dont strike out, etc. Thats what these challenges are. Lol a joke. Just a time sink.

Sold him for 144k. My outfield is already pretty crowded and with backups playing for missions etc and i run a mostly BOS tt. IF i ever end up doing a live collection it will be the AL, etc.

All of these combined im just wondering, what would you have done? Sell now like I did, before value may decrease? Hold him thinking he may actually INCREASE? Use him for a collection?

Curious as this is literally the first time I pulled something that valuable AND I didnt really have a fit that i could see anytime soon.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN i dont remember who the mets collection reward is, but since theyre NL, i wasnt even thinking of that actually. AL, I know I have the Sox and I believe one more AL east team.

Maybe one or two others complete, but even its just the sox and one other, im almost certain the majority of others are likely in tge 65-75 percent complete neighborhood so I could probably buy all the odds and ends to fo pretty much all of it if im patient about it. Part of why I sold, since that 144k will come in handy for that i guess.

The game is ridiculous. All rng. Like madden.

@TheGoaler_PSN yeah thats the other thing, his fielding didn't look too good. I have bad fielders, but they at least fit my TT and are GREAT hitters. Not just good. He didnt seem to fit.

@YOSHI24_XBL honestly uou should be able to go to your bullpep and probably even pinch hit with a quick in game menu.
