I won one game with 5 runs on one hit. Not what I would call exhilarating.

I'm with you on this one. I can't let it go either because it's something they can easily identify and correctly punish without false positives. They simply chose not to.

They sent a clear message that they don't really care about fair play unless it directly effects their stub purchase income. That's important enough to me that I'm just out on anything SDS going forward.

Yes, we're still talking about it. I'll continue to talk about it until they do something or until next year when I don't purchase the game. It's important to some of us that the company actually make an effort to stop exploitation and cheating. This is a clear case of exploitation with definitive proof of who took took advantage of it. We can disagree on how harsh the punishment should be, but we should all be able to agree that action should have been taken.

The fact that SDS has made a conscious decision to allow exploitation is very concerning. The boards are full of complaints on cheating and market manipulation. Based on their WC exploit strategy, I see zero chance SDS will even attempt to address other concerns.

Doing absolutely nothing while making some grand statement that punishment is on the way is insulting. Every day they do nothing is an active choice by the company. Maybe I'm in the minority but that's why I'm still talking about it. I would like to enjoy the game and purchase again next year. Maybe I'm just hoping they will give me a reason to. My optimism is fading though.

I wasn't expecting bans. I wouldn't have agreed with the bans either. Kicking players off of a game because they exploited an error created by the developers isn't good business practice.

They could have debited stubs or inventory. Wiping accounts should've been the punishment. Severity tied to the level of exploitation. They could have easily done it based on game logs.

Anything would be better than a menacing statement that turned out to be BS. SDS just sweeping it under the rug and hoping it simply disappears is the worst option possible to me. One that will affect my decision to spend money with SDS ever again.

@Dolenz_PSN calling out the game history is hilarious and sad. Hilarious for obvious reasons.

Sad because it's that easy to ascertain what players exploited and SDS still chooses to ignore it anyway. It's just proof that they genuinely don't care about competitive balance.

If they are ok with the obvious exploit, we have zero chance they'll address other forms of cheating.

I just hope the Cholowsky 150K different art card isn't required. That would really irk me.

That card is the dumbest thing they've done yet IMO. If I want to collect every card in the Draft Series, it's just a waste of 150K. For the exact same attributes on a card I already have.

Why? Almost every online game I am constantly waiting on the other player. Long time before the game starts. In between every inning. A decent amount of time in between the opponent's at bats. I'm just trying to understand why anyone would just sit there and not progress the game.

I'm sure that I'm just missing something. It would annoy me less if I understood why.

I struggle to hit in every event but this one seems like I have company. I was running though the strike out challenges. Most of the games were very low scoring.

Hopefully they did something in matchmaking and I'm getting matched up with similarly crappy players. I got the 5 wins faster than I ever have.

Absolutely nothing. And that will probably be the deciding factor of never spending a dime on an SDS product again. It's too easy for them to identify the exploiters and they're choosing not to. Screw the customers who didn't exploit. I give them the benefit of the doubt in fighting true cheats. I can't imagine how hard it would be to distinguish exceptional players from cheaters. I don't envy companies who have to figure that out. This is something else completely.

With that being said, I didn't exoect a ban. Banning your player base for exploiting your mistake is bad business. They could have easily adjusted stubs or cards after the fact though. They chose not to. And even worse, made a big statement that they were. Just didn't have the balls to follow through.

Yep. Just making it worse for a portion of the fanbase for no reason. If you're not good at the plate like me, this is right about 3X less experience. Instead of hitting it every three games, it will take me closer to ten games.

I'm about done with SDS at this point. I'll finish up this year and then find something else. They're just crapping on us at this point. They're either extremely tone deaf or just don't really care about pissing us off.

Curiel is going to be good. He won't hit a ton of HRs but he is great at everything else. Plus speed, great defender. First step on defense is borderline seeing the future. HIs vision is elite at the plate. His swing a miss rate was lowest in the country at one point late in the season. Had a 40+ game on base streak as a true freshman.

Baseball IQ is unparralled. You can find it online but there was a play where the runner ahead of him might not have touched home. He slowed enough to call Serna back to touch the plate before he did. It was against Oklahoma. Just a great player overall. Seems like a genuinely good dude as well.
