Curiel is going to be good. He won't hit a ton of HRs but he is great at everything else. Plus speed, great defender. First step on defense is borderline seeing the future. HIs vision is elite at the plate. His swing a miss rate was lowest in the country at one point late in the season. Had a 40+ game on base streak as a true freshman.

Baseball IQ is unparralled. You can find it online but there was a play where the runner ahead of him might not have touched home. He slowed enough to call Serna back to touch the plate before he did. It was against Oklahoma. Just a great player overall. Seems like a genuinely good dude as well.

Earlier today I had my 3B freeze with the ball and eventually threw to 2nd instead of 1st. Was a first time for me.

Have you checked every lineup in every Mini Season?

After four orders, the app auto closes whatever card I have open and will not let me open another card.

Bots were annoying but they didn't break the app. Making stubs was still possible. This is unusable now.

@Dolenz_PSN I think you're one of the most reasonable posters on this board and I generally agree with you. But you also have said in the past that you don't work the market at all. You save up indefinitely to get a single Cardinal card. You're not really in a position to understand what I'm saying.

We just invest our time in the game differently. I try to collect literally every card. Before yesterday, I had every player card (not counting the gold [censored]). I have almost every piece of equipment and unlockable already.

@unliveablechris_PSN It's almost like they are considering opening a card up and closing it as a transaction. It's wild.

Maybe it's just me. I've done a ton of flipping this year so I might be in a bot type bucket.

All I know is I don't have the desire to engage in the game anymore. I didn't even complete the programs released yesterday. I played a couple games and turned it off to watch TV. Haven't played today and don't really care if I play tomorrow.

It really is crazy. I just went to inventory, sorted by unowned and opened cards to try to fill out my cards. I opened cards, looked at where they were selling, closed and went to the next one.

Eventually I tried to place a 25 stub order on a bronze card and got the restricted message. I literally couldn't place a single 25 stub order.

Can't we agree this was a failed experiment?

It'll probably be an effective way to relieve stress on the servers. If everyone is like me, there will be a lot less traffic going forward.

Serious question. How else can we earn the millions of stubs needed to complete collections and such? I don't know of any way other than the market.

I give SDS credit for trying something to combat the bots but it went to far. Now they're literally forcing their players to stop engaging on their content after a few seconds. It's just dumb. I used to spend too much free time on this game. Now I only open the app to test how fast I get restricted.

Unless their end goal is to remove the only consistent way NMS players can fill out collections.

I was hopeful when they introduced the market throttle that it might help. That was when I was restricted after making 11 orders then had to wait 30ish seconds. That was reasonable.

It's unusable now. I go to my orders, open and check a few without even submitting or canceling an order. All of a sudden I'm restricted again without placing or canceling an order. It's insane.

SDS went way overboard on the restrictions right now. I placed 4 orders on one card and now can't even look at another card.

Severely limiting your player bases ability to engage in the game is an interesting strategy.

If you mean the current buy price is barely above the sell price and it crushes the margin? I just buy it and list for a profit. It has never hurt me and you'd be surprised how often it immediately sells at a win.

I really liked the HOF addition to MS. I can't imagine how long it's going to take me to get 40 TB with Mauer on it though.

Matchmaking. Period. Fix this and more inexperienced players might make it more than a game or two.

I actually enjoyed my first few BR runs. I didn't win much but it was fun. Then I kept just being outclassed. I know I'm not great but I don't enjoy the reminder.

Now I'm getting "request verification failed" on every order attempt. Can't place at all.

You'll get it for rapidly canceling transactions as well. I put a bunch of orders in on a cheep icon to test this out. Then when I cancelled them, I got the notice again.

There's a lot of conversation on this in another topic. Looks like they implemented a cool down period to place bulk orders. You can only place around 11 in rapid succession then you get the message. Wait 30-60 seconds and you can place more.

The verbiage on the message is terrible and makes it sound like it's a ban or something. It's actually not that bad in practice and if it is effective against bots, it's worth it.

SDS communication would have been nice but at least they're trying something.

The quote is "Your account has been restricted". I just got it again by canceling the orders I placed to test this out. Guess I was canceling too fast lol.
