Let’s agree on one thing here.

Man if all you people complaining were so good and know it all you should stop whining and put in an application.

Allow only One Press of R2 PER AT Pitch at 3 seconds your choice.

This will satisfy both sides....

Side One (Your not going to quick pitch me clan) They can slow down the at bat by 3 seconds whatever you choose.

Side Two (messing with my PPP or other pitching clan) once they see that they pressed R2 they know it can’t happen again that at bat so they don’t have to worry.

They don’t they play a couple games and when one game doesn’t go their way they come to complain on the forums… unlike most of us just take it like an adult and move on.

Your solution is great except it won't satisfy some of the R2 pressers. Some have stated directly on here that they "spam" (their word) R2 every time they feel quick-pitched (subjective obvs). There's no making them happy unless they can flick R2 whenever they want and they've stated as much.

Yeah to hell with those people don’t care for them.

Serious question...is it okay to hold r2 at the beginning of every at bat to see how you were pitched in the previous at bat?

On this same topic, it is nice that you can see when the other player is holding r2. So, you can wait to start your pitch until they stop.

Except some do it as you wind up and if you use PPP, it screws up with your meter and you throw meatballs

First thing, once you begin the analog action for ppp, r2 can no longer be used. So instead of trying to pitch at turbo speed take your time between pitches. If someone is r2 spamming that’s the remedy.

Not true; if it’s used during the wind up/pitch specific movement of the sequence, the pull down part doesn’t respond and it’s either a ball in the backstop, a beanball or a fat one down the middle.

Yup there is a time during the pull down you can time R2 and mess everything up

the R2 button is designed for those who do not want scumbags to quick pitch them to slow down. If you read through and think and again not being disrespectful this is not about quick pitching or any of that... This is about people abusing R2 multiple times in a at bat and by abuse I mean pressing R2 really quick (not even long enough to check stamina or confidence or for that matter slow down the pitcher ect) to make the input of the Pitcher especially on Pinpoint to jack up. It is completely different

Implement One time use of R2 per at bat

Like almost 100 games in online rated I haven’t had this problem lol. Game runs so good with normal teams and MAYBE if more people played online ranked where people don’t spend money they may do something to balance the game with a whole squad of great players? Keep spending Stubbs though lol

This is my biggest grip about this game. How they have implemented the Pci all these years is just wrong it is wayyy to big a bat is not a big [censored] circle with a secondary outer circle. The PCI should resemble the barrel of the bat and if your way off it’s a swing and miss all day. When I foul off pitches for example pitch is high inside corner and my pci is middle low but it is still fouled off is crazy. Make the Pci the actual bat
