I think it's strange that guys who ended the season with silver LS cards can get 99 Finest cards.

It's turning into cartoony comic book territory. It won't be long before you'll be able to build a wall Fortnite style before your opponents home run goes over the fence.

@X-FREEZE-OFF-X I've been playing since 2013. You had to hit 4 home runs with Griffey online. That sucked for sure, but so did doubles with Joe Torre.

I hear you on all that, but right now the most efficient way to play is to play on rookie offline and just numb out for hours. I'm not hear for that and people quit already as it is. My messages got turned off years ago when they started asking for 8 intentional walks. The good old days is what I like to call it. 2016 gets my vote as best year.

At least we're not collecting 1000's of hats this year.

I love baseball and MLB The Show but DD has become a chore. It seems they have made this game only for the people who can finish a program within a week.

What happened to 9 inning baseball games? All these 3 inning and mini-modes have taken over. RS means nothing these days. In 2016 I played hundreds of RS games. Maybe played 16 last year. Not everyone has time to do RS, Battle Royal, Events plus Conquest, Showdown and moments.

I just learned that I would have to do 40 moments for each Monthly card. That's crazy to me. Why can't I earn that card another way?

A job. A chore. Give it a name. The fun and realism has been sucked out of DD. I'm seeing this year that even average to sub average MLB'ers are getting power and speed added to their cards. I'm a big Cubs fan. Watch every game. Justin Steele is a 2 pitch pitcher. He has 5 on his card...LOL.

@fubar2k7 This wasn't BR. And what I meant by forcing him to walk me is the game wouldn't let him throw strikes. Forced walks are a thing. Don't kid yourself.

I just started the Negro League moments this morning. Those parks look good. Making stadiums that play like you're on the moon just shows the base the developers are aiming for. I'm honestly waiting for them to add wall building like Fortnite. With the right captain card you can build a 200ft wall to knock down no doubters.

Play on the moon or in the dark with cards that don't deserve their attributes. Sounds fun right?

I had pack problems earlier myself. Was hyped to open my 1st Jumbo pack because I didn't know what it was. Never heard of a Jumbo pack. I just knew there was going to be a shiny diamond in there. I opened that thing and pulled like 18 free agents. Jumbo Waste of Time!

@broken_toy1 I'm not talking about Ranked Seasons rewards or BR rewards or event rewards. I'm talking about cards you have to unlock by playing Showdowns and moments.

If you didn't like to have to play online to get a reward I would expect you to understand the opposite scenario.

I view moments as having to take a timeout from actually playing the game. I've got to sit there and pump up and in fastballs to the CPU or just keep taking hacks until the programming says I'm good to go. What if a guy can't play all day?

I've player 10 event games since getting this game 2 days ago. Not one person has acted crazy. I haven't witnessed one bunt attempt let alone bunt dancing. Online isn't as crazy as you make it out. My issue is that I've only gotten 1 TA 5 voucher in those 10 event games. It doesn't add up. I'm still 1 more inning away from my 2nd voucher. I don't think I'm getting credit for an inning pitched if I change pitchers because something isn't adding up.

Corbin, Vlad Sr., Wheeler? Sleeper pick? Who you got?

@arvcpa I just saw that RS is like BR now. It's a good change. I didn't like the 200+ innings structure.

They're not bad and Raley definitely gets it done, but I figured they'd be some better relievers besides free ones.

I've gotten worked over by Franco several times in the event and he's only 10k. I might grab him just to grab him.

Been worked over by Billy the Kid too. Donaldson has given me trouble and he's cheap also. I want that Randy at some point.

One card I was curious about was the Nestor Cortes card. Some guy online straight clowned me with him. Whichever set has them in regular clothes.

@LuvMyXBOX I don't appreciate the mind games and wasting my time. I breezed through them all up until Corbin. 7 in a row or something. After the CPU robbed the home run Superman style his confidence got boosted and I started swinging away. It seems that if I don't take til 2 strikes then no matter how well my input it's always an out. Smoked right at them. Always. It's not my cup of tea.
