@X-FREEZE-OFF-X If indeed the contracts expired then yes. They lose the card. But that's not what happened. SDS did this for no other reason, but monetary. Simple as that.

I don't even like playing offline because of the variance in pitch speeds and you think I'm playing on Rookie? Never that dude.

Just browsing the market to see how making programs expire effects it. I bought both these guys fairly cheap a month ago. They're not so cheap now along with all the rest.

I'm going to give you guys a lesson in property rights and expiring contracts. If the WBC and Mexico Programs expired due to the contracts with those entities expiring then there wouldn't be any WBC cards or Mexico cards in the game at all. Some don't get to stay while others go. That's not how it works.

@fubar2k7 When the CPU makes an error on purpose just so you don't lose do you acknowledge that to yourself or do you think you won the game legit?

When the CPU attempts to steal a base with 2 outs, so you can throw him out and win the game do you recognize that or does it just go right over your head?

When the CPU fouls off 11 pitches and you're sitting there cussing and then he watches a fastball go right by him to strike him out do you realize what was going on? Do you realize the programming was just playing with you or do you think you finally fooled that pesky CPU hitter?

Playing the CPU is pure theatre. Gotta know the script.

@sbchamps17 There are many Switch users online. Like I said don't take it personal. They somehow get to compete even though they never should. SDS gotta make it fair somehow.

@Dolenz If you like playing games modes that don't reward your input that's on you. Don't make people play them modes to unlock cards. I'm 5 points shy of completing about 5 different programs, but I need to do Showdown to complete them. It's ignorant how they structure these things.

27 minutes clearing a Conquest map after defeating all strongholds. Literally hours to place buy orders for 6 teams for 1 TA. Even on the app. Thousands of cards.

Showdown, moments, clearing a Conquest map, placing buy orders, having to do missions with chitty cards, you name it. So much of this game is centered around the user wasting their time instead of actually enjoying the game and DD mode. Year after year. Rinse and repeat. No other video game feels like a chore like this one.

Every single card in this game should be purchasable by stubs. Every. Single. One. Why the hell do we have multiple duplicates that we can't sell or use in exchanges in the first place?

@sbchamps17 Example #1 of why cross play never should've been implemented. Don't take this personal, but ain't no way a guy playing on a 4 inch screen using classic should get to compete against guys with $500 consoles and $500 monitors. Yet here we are. It's a shame what this game has turned into.

@Dolenz That's cute and all, but do you expect someone who got the game on Christmas for XBOX to read some PlayStation blog from the spring? As of today, Jan. 2nd, 2024 SDS is still advertising WBC cards with MLB The Show 24.

Making content expire is bad business.
