Also if your are playing to strictly Max out your archetype the fastest, I recommend playing on Beginner. Beginner throws nothing but strikes and makes the game/your at bats go by way faster. Took me about 2 seasons to get my guy pretty much maxed out to all 50 attribute cap
Coming up on 350k and haven't seen a ton of talk about the Murray card probably because a lot of new 1B options just dropped. Anybody given him some good run and can offer opinions? I like a switch hitter with all 100+ hitting stats and diamond defense for free. Thanks in advance.
He is the best first baseman in the game in my opinion. Diamond defense, switch hitter and hitd bombs and gap shots all day. I'm also a huge fan of 99 wander. I have both those guys in my squad. Can't go wrong with either. Mathewson is garbage.
Why is Mathewson garbage? .... too predictable? ..... I've not used him yet.
Easy to read, easy to hit, doesnt pitch hard. Offsides stuff is predictable and easy to adjust to. So if you sit fastball you can just react to offspeed stuff.
Thanks for the replies. Makes sense. I figured it would be accessible at least for a long time or those cards would come out in packs at some point because like mentioned above, there's no benefit to keeping folks from Jackie.
I have purchased stubs from the PlayStation app that I never received 2x both $20 transactions, I sold a Freddie freeman on the market and never received the stubs for it annnnnnd I didn’t get my preorder stubs lol little bit of everything
A lot of rosters have many players who haven't had enough service time to be a free agent(6-7 years, depending on whether or not the team manipulated the service time). These players are basically on a series of 1 year deals where only the current team can have negotiating rights. Then there's the arbitration years, which are similar but if there's a money disagreement they go to an independent arbitrator who gets to decide who is right
