The bots are run by SDS, intentionally to push people towards buying stubs.

@markemark_NSW I'm getting that too, but when I go to the website, it says "your account is restricted". I make about 25 transactions a week, so not sure why they think I'm a bot.

Same story for me. I make about 15-20 market transactions a week, and yet they think I'm a bot?

Same error for me. I have about 100K stubs and have made about 5 transactions in the last 2 days. Surely not a bot.

@genopolanco_PSN I used to buy stubs, but without a crackdown on bots in the market, not a chance I will now.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL I was hoping they would discontinue the app personally. The app has been the source all the bots use.

It is for me. I am not buying next year's version, because SDS refuses to fix cheaters and bots in the Diamond Dynasty mode. Since all the other modes don't change year to year, I will just keep this copy for 5-6 years.

@TripleH-4481_PSN My thoughts exactly. Again, I still play MLB the Show 26, and enjoy it, but just not engaging with the Diamond Dynasty aspect of it anymore. No more cards, stubs, XP, etc that I am even worrying about going forward.

@TripleH-4481_PSN Drove me away from Diamond Dynasty mode completely. I still have fun with Road to the Show or the classic, regular season (offline) mode that uses the real MLB team rosters without having to build up "cards" to play. I treat MLB the Show as an offline only game. Heck, with the announcement of PS Plus going up in price, I'm about to stop paying Sony to play online anyway.

We didn't. I am playing this game without a care in the world about packs, cards, or stubs. I'm playing the non-Diamond Dynasty modes. I am not falling for the live service scam part of this game anymore. Done with that mode.

Mobile gaming isn't gaming. I stay away from mobile games like they are the plague.

@rms1980rms_PSN And if the market is terrible, that makes Diamond Dynasty terrible as a result. I stopped playing Diamond Dynasty and worrying about collecting any stubs or cards outright. I am playing RTTS and just proper, regular season games with the real MLB rosters. SDS's lack of effort into controlling cheaters and bots have resulted in pushing people away from the Diamond Dynasty mode outright.

@IaMbAtMaN7777777_PSN Then use an ABS challenge. I just want some margin of error in the game, like there is in real life baseball.

@Kalebbro12_NSW They won't ever because of 2 reasons.

1. Sony is getting their clock cleaned this generation for hardware/console sales, because people have migrated to PC, where up until recently, Sony released most of their games. Sony has just started to reverse the trend of releasing games on PC.

2. PC game will have so many more cheaters.

I only play them on rookie setting to ensure a win, and will just accept the lower odds. Worst case, I don't get the card, but keep my treasures. I just keep playing until the card eventual falls my way on rookie. At least I accumulate some packs in the process.

I subscribe to the theory that many have that SDS is in fact the ones running the bots, to keep marketplace margins non-existent. I would not be surprised if it comes to light that SDS studios was engaged in anti-consumer practices involving their micro-transactions and will face a FTC complaint and lawsuit at some point. For me, I have withdrawn permanently from playing Diamond Dynasty and consider it nothing other than a pure scam. And a scam that does in fact involve real world money.

@GoozeFn_PSN Spare me the kids argument. It's your job as a parent to monitor your kids online. Also, I don't want to hide my kids from history, and stuff that actually happened. Kids that are sheltered from history will be failures in life.

@GoozeFn_PSN Sure they do I suppose. But there are 2 types of people. Those offended by anything they don't like, or those who maybe don't like something, but don't raise a concern because in the big picture, Nazi style uniforms in this game isn't going to break me.

@LHUBison58_XBL What language barrier? I was born in England and moved to Russia about 2 years ago. English is my native language.
