I'm starting to think the bots are actually being run by SDS themselves, an effort to drive people to buying stubs. I've filed a FTC complaint at this manipulation.

SDS, there is is an active bot, in the marketplace for the Craig Biggio card at the time of this post. It is no doubt a bot because for the past 2 hours I've been watching that card bidding, and every time someone places a bid, for any random amount, within less than 1 second, the bot places 2 bids instantly 1 stub more than the real bid. Are you going to do anything about this non-stop botting that is ruining the market? Non-action on these bots is making me realize I should no longer bother buying future iterations of this game.

Pulled an Aaron Judge out of a Twitch drop last night.

@Bicarbonate_Fury_PSN There is no way there is 187 people selling the same card for exactly 27453 stubs. I was born at night, but I wasn't born yesterday.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL I barely win 10% of my games against the CPU on rookie level. I doubt I will ever be good enough to even bother playing a online match against someone. I just like to play on the couch, with my kids or friends that come over.

Why not just bubble wrap all the players and have their mommies make sure they don't get hurt playing the game? Maybe that would protect all the players. Funny how older generations didn't have all this equipment and got hurt far less than the modern player does.

Remember to buy one of the inning boss cards early on. Also, these prices will crash on Friday.

@hoo_pharted_PSN I agree. Shielded kids end up turning out to be the worst types of adults, who are so under prepared for the real world, they end up over compensating on devious behavior in an attempt to fit in as a 20 something. 15 year olds seeing a pair of bewbs isn't going to be the end of the world.

IMO modern baseball players have too much equipment. Never mind all the players who have mismatched equipment colors (looking at you Acuña). Would love to see players go back to just wearing the uniform and grabbling the lumber.
-
You do know you can calculate averages and see if they fall within the expected odds as I was clearly demonstrating, right? That's precisely how and audit would be conducted.

@Rhyno1986_XBL Thanks, I know how statistics work. I have a masters degree in engineering and maths were of course a major component of my program. Sure, in one sample of 50 pack pulls, indeed, a diamond may not be pulled. However, when we are looking at 50,000 packs, statistically, there should be between 950 and 1050 diamond cards pulled from that sample size, in order for it to fall within a generous 5% margin distribution.
-
@TripleH-4481_PSN That's where they get you then. I personally think it's a bit misleading, and all cards in a category should be equal odds for getting pulled.
-
@SaveFarris_PSN You counteract that by increasing production. In this case, increase the number of cards and the number of cards in the market.
-
@TripleH-4481_PSN That right there is the crux of my issue then. Not all diamond cards are created equally. It would be like entering a raffle to win a new car. Sure, you might have 1 in 10,000 chance of winning a car, but let's say there are 100 cars getting raffled off. Of those 100 cars, 99 of them are Geo Metros, while the other 1 car is a Mercedes S-Class. Sure, both are cars, but not the same calibre.
-
@Pergo_MLBTS I would imagine you are correct. If word ever got out about fake pack odds, that would open the game studio open to a lawsuit for damages equal to all packs purchased.
-
@Nolczyk16_PSN I get that frustration. It's a big deal to have all the immersion, as true to life as possible. I wonder what causes that bug for those specific teams rather than league wide?
-
@SavageSteve74_PSN That's great transparency, but again, all internal. Nothing to say those published pull rates aren't faked (I don't think they are for the record). I wouldn't put it past EA with NHL and Madden to pull shenanigans such as faking published pack pull rates.
-
@theBlindRhino_PSN That is a great way to think about it. Key is to catch the pendulum on the downswing to buy and sell when it goes back up. I still think the community market needs some spark to generate more volume. I have looked at quite a few cards where there are only 4-5 transactions per hour. A few years ago, there were hundreds of completed transactions on most cards.
-
@SaveFarris_PSN That's not how economies work. When taxes are lowered, prices tend to come down. A seller could sell a card for 5% less than now, and still come out making 5% more profit.
