Bro Ive addressed issues! When have I ever said its perfect! Its just 3 times better than the awful joke that was 19. The pitching needs re worked and the good okays need fixed. Thats honestly it for me. The game would be perfect if those were fixed.

Then why are players attacked on here to all ends when they bring up pitching and hitting issues? The very issues you just agreed need to be fixed.

Because half the posts are people who just say “hitting is broke” then dont tell you why its broke. Its just people crying because they arent good.

Multiple times I’ve provided visual proof to show how hitting is broke and it represents what all those other “crybabies” are talking about. It can’t be defended and members on here have blocked me when I ask them to explain it. Doesn’t do their case any good when they run and hide instead of proving me wrong.

Again, Guttfoxx is a good player and he’s “crying”.....go share your feelings with him.

Ok but what about the pitcher who threw a perfect pitch on the corner, not the black or over the middle but on the corner? Shouldn’t he be rewarded for making a perfect pitch? Why are you only allowed to rewarded? They say a good defense will beat a good offense and that’s what happened here. If that happened to you when the ball was right down the middle you’d have a valid complaint but you’re bitchin about hitting a perfect pitch on the corner from a former cy young award winner. Be realistic man if you gonna complain every god [censored] day...

I mean, yeah, online will always have some issues. My complaint is that events play flawlessly for me. I have no issues catching up to balls and hitting well on HOF difficulty.

But in Ranked seasons, if I don't swing at a fast ball as soon as it leaves the pitchers fingers, I'm late. Every swing, it does that pause animation glitch, by the time the game catches up again, the ball is already in the catchers mitt.

I'd be happy if RS just played the same as events.

This is kind of why I just play March 2 October. I find that if you can just get out of April, the mode becomes so much more fun when you start trading for guys.

A dev needs to address this. Lots of time wasted for nothing

Yes, after 4 balls you are rewarded with a walk. Pretty simple concept.

You know, to “work the count”.

The whole point of taking pitches is to get a pitch down the middle, or the pitch that you’re looking for. Just because it’s a strike doesn’t mean it’s a good pitch to hit. If I’m sitting up and in and I get a low and away changeup, unless it’s a two strike count, I’m taking it. Or if it’s the first pitch of the AB and I get that high heater you bet I’m swinging. Here are a few things taking pitches does for you both in the game and IRL..

Pitch recognition. Seeing a pitch multiple times it becomes easier to hit. Figuring out a pitcher’s tendencies. Wearing down a pitcher Waiting for a pitch down the middle or the pitch you are looking for. Drawing a walk

Could not have said it better myself. Everything this guy said is vital. My friends wonder how I lay-off the close ones all the time. It’s because I shrink the strike zone to just the middle until I have two strikes on me. Like he said not all strikes are good pitches to hit. People think they should be able to take great pitches on the corners deep just because they get their pci on it. Mlb players may get hits on those pitches but they rarely take them deep. I play this game a lot and for the most part I think it plays pretty realistic.

I always exchange rivals for the extra 10..I know I lose stub profit but it defeats the purpose of playing again for 60 points...

@skepple True, but there’s a fine line and I think we’re on the wrong side of that line for one reason or another. Just to be clear, this isn’t a case of not being able to catch up to a pitch, some games I’m consistently early on 98 inside and other games I’ve got no chance of timing up a 90 mph fastball from a scrub pitcher. That said - We’re all entitled to our opinions and sometimes we will disagree. Glad you’re enjoying the game anyway, personally I’m not.

I've finished MTO seasons with both the Yankees and Astros in order to get FOTF cards through TA points. I think it's a fun mode and feels like less of a grind than repeatedly trying Showdown or spending stubs on collections for TA points.

Right? I turned it off last year. People are obsessed with the feedback, but it’s inaccurate and irrelevant to an extent anyway. Batted ball outcomes are what will win and lose games. If I hit a home run and the feedback says early/okay it’s still a home run. Likewise, if I lineout and the feedback says perfect/perfect, I’m still out.

Having optimal swing timing feedback won’t win you the game. I have people on my friends list who tire me with complaints about giving up hits and runs on early swings. Of course you give up hard hits on early swings. It’s called pulling the ball.

If that's the way you feel, if you think it's inevitable that SDS will take that path, why stick around?

Already quit playing DD, barely playing Online Rated...trust me, my game time is dwindling.

I loved this game on early access weekend and then they ruined it. Why? Can’t they have the decency to explain their reasons why? I bet if they did explain, a lot of us would just accept it and move forward. At least we would know what the game is and it would help not get frustrated when something happens in a game because it was explained to us to expect that to happen. But no, all they want to do is just monitor numbers and hide.

Lol, no a lot of people wouldn't accept it and move forward. They aren't going to say "We did this to help newer players", they'll say something else, and would you accept that answer? Of course not.

So don't pretend if they came up with some answer that everybody would hold hands and accept it.

Please don’t speak like you know me personally, I would absolutely accept it and decide if I want to keep buying this game knowing the truth about it.

Sure, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't qualify as the "Alot" like you said, because a lot needs to mean ALOT with how big the player base is.

Don't dance around it, you were speaking about people that you don't know, you were just generally saying a lot as in a lot of the people who are not happy.

Atleast hundreds, considering thousands of people play this game.

I honestly can't even see casual players enjoying this gaming experience online once they get to All-Star, at all.
