Idk why but for whatever reason I just can't get into it this year like the past few years. The other night I got off work and the wife and kids were gone and I was planning on finally playing into the night, but I played a few games and I was like meh and turned it off. I mean, I literally just spent 75K of my hard earned stubs (especially this year!) on a 50 Pack just for the heck of it and I never spend stubs on packs! In case you were wondering I pulled 0 diamonds and only 2 golds in the whole bundle. Only diamond I got was a Salvy from the extra pack you get with the 50 bundle.

Anyways this is my rant, I'm excited to get my Brewers chise going! Go Crew!

Agreed. I can't put my finger on it, but something feels off to me, too. Maybe it's the new programs? They seem kind of slow, too. I don't have the desire to grind through all the missions. As much as I like getting new cards, I think I might head over to Franchise or Road to the Show for a while.

Or maybe, it's just after three years of DD I realize these early months are kind of pointless. Why am I working so hard to get a 91 diamond card, when in a few months they'll be giving those away?

I hate pitching moments in general, but this one has to be the worst. I'm with you on this one. I only tried 5 or 6 times, but I'll probably come crawling back...

Agreed. In a theee-inning game, each batter is essentially an inning of stamina. The three-pitcher rule is intended for nine-inning games, not this.

I have few complaints about this year's The Show, except...
I play mostly three-inning games. Starters are occasionally at red energy in the first inning, and relievers are tired after two batters. Either get rid of the three-batter rule, or give my pitchers more energy.

This is the first time in many years I play MLB The Show in early April without the dreadful fear of getting disconnected at any moment playing simple Conquest games. Thanks for fixing that, SDS.

I got up to 250+ standard packs, 50+ team affinity packs, and a bunch of others. Poured myself a few pints of beer, turned on the tunes, and finally got through them.

It's odd, because I hate having even one unopened email in my inbox. But 117 packs? Sure, why not?

I'm too lazy to open standard packs. I'll open Headliners, Kitchen Sinks, and others, but I have 117 standard packs just sitting there. Anyone else just skipping those at this point?

Ok, sure. You betcha. But he shares a name with a Hall-of-Famer (with a different suffix). So do the 20 minutes of moments, and the 45-minute All-Star-level game, get the XP and stop whining.

Any tips for getting through the Yadier Molina evolution? All I seem to do is hit 5-3 groundouts.

Between my spotty internet connection and the unreliable SDS servers, why do I have to lose conquest games due to online disconnections? Why should my internet connection have any affect on a single-player game? There HAS to be a way to let me finish the games, then record the results once the connection is restored. Arghhhh.

Yea, I waited on playing my 9-inning games (Joe Carter, John Smoltz, etc.) for this three-day weekend. First attempt I get disconnected in the 2nd inning. Looks like I won't be finishing the 7th Inning Program. (And I really wanted that Hank Aaron.)

I love his defense. I love the man. I love his leadership, especially back in '16. But, my god, what an awful contract and all-around player. Only two more over-priced years.

Combo of buttons? Lol. I think you simply hit X. It is one of the most common plays. Pass, shoot, tackle, and oh-my-god-I-think-he-broke-my-shin!

I can't tell you how many times I've gone 3 for 4 on this Moment, just to lose. Or, I'll start with a homer then never hit it out of the infield after that. And don't get me started about the time I was going to leg out a tripe to finally win it, only to have the ball bounce over the wall for a ground-rule double. Phuck this Pham moment.
