The team is working very hard on a number of issues that are of concern to the community -- Grant Taylor, Hader/King, and many others.

It's been a while since I've said this, and it bears repeating: Sometimes circumstances make it easier for us to give updates on these things and sometimes they don't. But please don't take a lack of public updates to mean that nothing is being done.

These things can take time and require a lot of internal coordination -- Making the team aware of an issue, being able to reproduce it and find a fix, testing and implementing that fix, and messaging out the fix are all important parts of the process and have to be considered.

Just to offer some friendly insights here.

In this case (Grant Taylor), I can say that this does seems to be a bug and the team is looking into it. I'll keep everyone updated appropriately as much as possible.

Today, we are taking action against a number of accounts that violated our Terms of Service by participating in an exploit within the WBC Mini Seasons activity.

This is the first step in our enforcement efforts, and we reserve the right to take further action against accounts that participated in this exploit, or any other violation of our Terms of Service.

These actions are intended to help maintain a fair and balanced experience for all players and prevent similar violations in the future.

We're also working on a fix that will restore the WBC Mini Season’s rewards that were temporarily adjusted to mitigate this exploit. We expect to share more information in the near future.

Let's be careful not to talk about specific tools and methods here. We don't want to make it any easier for people to do this than it already is.

@Squid_Adams_MLBTS -- Your threads get locked because they cause tumultuous and unproductive discussion. When your initial post begins the thread by calling out others by name, you're not off to a good start.

We've discussed this both publicly and privately, but I'll remind you one last time: you're allowed to criticize the game as long as you do so respectfully and constructively. You're also allowed to respond to people who reply in your thread, as long as those responses are respectful and productive.

Creating threads that are passive aggressive and intended to stir the pot isn't productive and won't be tolerated.

The team just pushed an update intended to make the DeGrom Showdown card exchangeable for a sellable version.

As many of you know, this week, we replaced the Jose Alvarado Moonshot Series card with the Tanner Scott Moonshot Series card and as a result, the community had some questions that we wanted to clarify.

Earning Tanner Scott

There’s some confusion around how to get the Tanner Scott Moonshot card. If you earned the Alvarado card before this change was made, you would not automatically have the Scott card in your inventory. To ease this confusion, we’re awarding the Scott card to all player accounts that already had Alvarado.

PXP Missions

Alongside this change, on Tuesday, we replaced the corresponding Alvarado PXP mission with one for the Tanner Scott card. This new PXP mission can be completed by all players for 5 Stars towards completing the Moonshot Program.

Collections

We’ve removed the Alvarado Moonshot card from the Moonshot Collection, so it will not count towards completion progress. This is to help minimize any potential future confusion. This means Scott simply replaces Alvarado in the Collection as one of the 41 cards you need to complete. Please note: There is no advantage to having both cards, and Alvarado cannot be acquired moving forward, nor given through Support requests.

I've seen this mentioned before and I think it's a cool idea. I'm not sure if there's some reason (technical or otherwise) that it we haven't done that yet, but I'll share this with the team so they're aware of the interest.

I talked to the team about this and got some added context on this that I wanted to share with you guys. The intent here was to allow players who missed out on previous XP reward paths to catch up on previous Cornerstone programs. If we made them exchangeable, we would have to make them exchangeable even if you only had one, and we don't want players to accidentally exchange their card and get locked out of its related content.

@TheBigPapa55_PSN -- I actually ended up finishing the collection over the weekend, so pretty stoked about that.

You've got me wondering though, what the breakdown of SDS folks who have Beltran vs don't vs don't plan to get him, etc. would be. Hmm... might have to do a little casual internal polling

There's been a lot of great, legitimate feedback around the 20 card limit, including in this thread, but it's gotten to the point where the conversation is no longer productive, so I'm going to lock this thread for now.

Don't get me wrong -- those negative comments can be important too in many ways!

My intention here certainly isn't to write people who have negative opinions (I know that's not what you're suggesting here).

It's understandable -- there's a lot of negative happening. There are also a lot of people that feel like we're ignoring certain things, and while I can understand that too, I just wanted to throw out a little context that hopefully shows, for what it's worth, that those issues aren't being ignored.

I know that won't land for everyone and that's totally ok.

All of that said, I say this sincerely: This issue is frustrating to say the least and anyone who has encountered it has every right to be upset and/or angry about it. Full stop. Our team understands that and has worked hard on a fix for the issue that we plan to include in the next update.

@Chrono_Omega_PSN -- The letter of the rule may say one thing, but everyone seems to understand what the spirit of the rule is. Still, I've gone ahead and fixed the rule to remove this loophole.

We all have tough games that frustrate us, but the rule on these forums is that we show others respect, and it's non-negotiable.
