Mini Seasons has times where it will not let you play, no matter what you do. (Clicking play game doesn’t respond) So I back out of it and boom my PS5 kicks me out of the show and is now stuck on the “something went wrong with game or app” screen for over 10 minutes.

Going to have to do a full storage reset to the PS5. If I lose anything I’m going to be pissed.

This mode has been absolutely nothing short of a nightmare. You can’t even get credit for your wins without exiting out of the game entirely after every win. (Not even addressed in the new patch)

I love this game but stop putting rewards behind a mode that isn’t ready for them.

I want Longoria, I’m a Rays fan. Make him purchasable. There’s no reason not to.

I got the same thing happening a couple day's ago but not the same error code .... I deleted the game cache then re-install the game and it works A1 so if you can save the total reset I guess it's worth a try !

Not really. I spent most of the night trying to link my Switch. Played less than 12 event games and did one conquest map. Not much playing at all.

I got them to connect but now I have missing stubs, [censored] it 🤦🏻‍♂️

I could easily complete them, I just liked knowing I was getting packs, stubs, and a diamond player for doing them each month. Now it’s 30k points. Which yes, go toward the “program boss” but still, I feel like there could be more. You were already working toward an additional diamond last year when going toward the boss.

Ridiculous. I am still waiting for stubs back from order glitches.

Please DON'T change the stamina. It's perfect. I love the CPU going deeper into their bullpen and I don't mind having to use different relievers. And when we see better starters it'll be fine. Breakout Smoltz with 101 stamina can go 2 innings easy, and can go all 3 with a perfect game. It's fine. It's an improvement. Don't listen to these babies.

That being said, all I’m saying is that a pitcher should be able to face the three batter minimum before they get tired to a point that their pitches go anywhere but the location you want.

They can though. I usually use the starter for the first inning and different relievers for the 2nd and 3rd. 3 innings, 3 pitchers. But that's with mostly junk day 1 starters. Starters with decent stamina can get 6 outs fairly easy and like I said I've had a complete game with Smoltz.

The real benefit of this for solo grinders is that the CPU is constantly going to their pen and bringing in bums, which is great. Why would you want this changed just so your starter can go a little longer? Why does that matter?

Starters aren't the issue. It's the bullpen. When you have to use 2 relievers an inning cause they can't even make it through 3 batters. It depletes your bullpen pretty quick. Now, I will say the stamina regen is faster for relievers than starters. I've had to go through all 5 of my starters to get #1 back to full stamina and it probably only takes a game or two for a reliever, but again, if you get stuck in a barn burner especially playing the Cats or Whales with an all gold team on a higher difficulty...it gets tough.

We have to wait until the game is out before we can do this. When it is, go into your The Show account (not your PS account) and there will be a box there to link them. I think it then has to be done in the settings within the game too.

I played on a 27" BenQ as well close to 5 years. The difference for me is day and night at least for the clarity and sound. I really like the size of this new 32" and think any monitor bigger would be too much. I'm really enjoying this new Gigabyte monitor and not sorry that I got it.

I see the ball better because of the clarity but at my age it certainly doesn't increase my hand/eye coordination or reaction time I don't think LOL.

I’d just buy the base on the switch, and use the extra for stubs on the main account rather than get two digital deluxes.

I just played a guy in RS, ended up winning 6-4. Massive game by Jimmie Foxx (shocker). Come back from behind and get the win.

Anyways, I get back to main screen and get the “game summary not found due to friendly quit.”

How is this still an issue?!? It’s like opening month all over again.

I want my [censored] win and stats. It sucks. I don’t need them, but I at least want my stats to count. I’m using Juan Pierre, Kevin Kiermaier, Jonathan Villar, and CJ Abrams in my lineup for crying out loud.

When will "you people" learn to go play a different game if you don't like the game and let us who like to play this game play the game we enjoy?!?

Why should "we the people" take a lesson in determining what makes an enjoyable from "you people"?!?

Because it is painfully obvious The Show is mediocre but played because there are few, if any, alternatives. Trying to deny the franchise is extremely lacking and holding water for it is just silly. The fact the game didn't even get a (long overdue) visual makeover for next gen is a joke.

I'll never understand people accepting things being sub-par. The old, stupid "If you don't like America then get out!" nonsense rationalle when anyone suggests things need to be improved, lol.

This is all true.
We accept products that are mediocre.
Why do we pay a small fortune for a game that, out of the box, isn't anywhere near the finished product?
Bugs, glitches, server issues, freezes, and a very difficult game to enjoy online until around September.
"Don't play it." Dumb statement.
We buy based on the assumption that the game plays as advertised.
Not in September-- in April.
This game is a classic example of why capitalism is the best system in history. There is no competition to force SDS to make a better product. It's a monopoly.

Overblown example:

I like baseball and video games, but this one rarely plays as advertised.

But just because something is true doesn't mean it's right.

Competition breeds better quality overall and benefits everyone, be it medicine or video games.

Lol a monopoly any other developer/studio is more than welcome to purchase the MLB rights and it was MLB that forced SDS to make this title available to almost all platforms

It's a travesty how it will soon be Feb 2022, and people cannot go into a store & buy one. So many of my PSN friends still have no PS5. The PS4 is still a great system, and I still play mine, but everyone should have a 5 by now.

I literally got one within 1 week of trying after xmas. You just have to go on twitter and find the profiles that cover restocks. I got mine from gamestop the first restock after xmas

I had something happen where I tried to pitch out to an opponent who had a fast runner in second with no outs in extra innings. I did the pitch out and all of a sudden his batter states walking to first (first pitch of the AB). I threw the ball to the first baseman and it registered as an out.

Please give us a 99 Buxton in the pack!!!! His POTM cards has been my Favorite card in the game this year and a 99 version would be EPIC!
