@AppleLemon560_MLBTS I just assumed the availability of the card correlates with players selecting said card. While not unfathomable, I have a hard time believing players select the cards at a near 50% rate. Especially with this example. Francisco lindor being a switch hitter you would think him being the meta would mean more people selecting them.

I'm not incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to economics so I'm not sure how fishy it is but it doesn't quite seem right.
How is it that both of the boss cards from the third inning (Juan Soto, Francisco lindor) are roughly the same cost in the marketplace? I would assume that one would be more popular than the other by at least some measurable amount. The only thing I can think of is that so many players got one of the cards which drove the other card's price up but doesn't that mean at some point there would have been a larger Gap in their prices, whereas they've mostly stayed the same. ?

Just a heads up for the Penny Pinchers out there/ no money spent. When you open packs while playing on console, you are only given a quick sell option for certain cards. Mostly sponsorship cards, audio cards and Uniforms. If you open the packs in the companion app those cards have sell now values that are often up to quadruple the quick sale value.

@ShadowJake77_XBL so maybe it is not all in my head then. I feel like I've been going crazy playing lately because I'll have days where the CPU cannot get me out and I'm having a blast and then I'll come back the next day and I feel like I might as well be guessing at pitches to hit. This is the first year that I have truly questioned how much power/ RNG the CPU has over game outcomes. On Xbox or Playstation the CPU playing a little more difficult with their pitches might just come off as a hard time but on the switch version it feels impossible. Also having to purchase or collect cards that you aren't going to use sucks but on the switch you're collecting cards that you literally cannot use because of the lag and glitches they create, so you're essentially spending time and money on something that you know is going to be broken and unusable ( Jose Ramirez )

@sbchamps17_NSW Yes, unfortunately. Jose is unusable on the switch currently. I'm really hoping the new mural Ramirez will not have the same problem as he's one of my favorites.
Thanks for the reply. I was going crazy. I've been playing a lot over the last couple days and I think it might just be eye strain lol.

Question for my fellow Nintendo switch players. I Enjoy playing this game on a portable monitor with my Nintendo switch and a jackery box. It's always been a little bit of a bummer that the switch version has differences that aren't really outlined by SDS but nonetheless, it is my preferred way of playing.
My question is has anyone noticed in the last couple days gameplay has gotten more laggy and frame rate seems to be dropping and cutting out portions of certain stadiums? Or am I going crazy and my eyes are just getting too poor to play this version?

I don't think we are playing the same game.

I would gladly take a day Playing only moments so they can take mini seasons down and attempt fixing the bugs that have been there for 3 years. Hell I'll take new and different bugs to the format just to be able to dream they are trying to repair.
-
Content is severely lacking. I would love for SDS to create new ways of playing but personally I would be fine with continuing to play mini seasons, conquest, and diamond quest. I am not a developer so I'm open to being wrong, but is it really that hard to put out different mini season formats and conquest maps. How about a mini season that requires your team to be made of players who all played on the same team.
To their credit stub making is in my opinion the easiest it's ever been and this is the first year I can set a stub goal or player acquisition goal and know I can complete the goals in a measurable way.

I did this moment 17 times in a row and I have never been more shocked and confused. I literally thought that I managed to hit a ball off the same part of the outfield wall every single time. I started videoing,
started believing in God started to stop believing in God and then eventually thought maybe I should read the description of the moment. Pretty [censored] embarrassing but also hilarious. -
I have spent years defending this game and its developers. I understand everyone is always upset about perfect perfect line outs. Problems with servers and the graphics Not seeing significant upgrades. These things are frustrating and I am not downplaying others concerns but they are not anything that ever bothered me. I spend my whole year playing this game and for $70 that's kind of hard to beat.
With that being said, this is the first time that I'm truly disappointed and see a definite lack of leadership and commitment to the game from the developers. How hard is it to create new bat skins? New mini-season teams with legit jerseys, better customization for customizable jerseys and being able to customize the jerseys that are already in the game such as switching out the hats and pants. Small issues that I was able to look past for years such as my opponents always having whatever bat skin I'm using The starter collection always having a notification dot t even when it's complete. No improvements on player statistics and an easy way to compare players that you use And not being able to custom practice with the actual cards you want to use or practice with. New PCI graphics or colors? No change in camera angles.
I'm really okay with playing virtually the same game every year as I enjoy it, but as a consumer I'm starting to feel pretty frustrated with the attention to detail and what appears to be a lack of effort.
