I pulled my Diaz from just a regular show pack and finished my entire collection about a week ago. Trust me, you can finish the entire collection. It wouldn't be a challenge if they just gave it to you, which they pretty much did by letting us purchase players from the marketplace in the first place. The more you don't worry about it the faster it'll come and trust me you want that chipper Jones he is a BAMF I just opened 195 packs I'd saved up, because I stopped opening them up months ago (there was nothing live series that was going to improve my roster). No Diaz, I'd say you got lucky. Side question: Don't know if anyone would know this or how you'd figure it out...if you open a pack months later, does it draw from the current player pool or the player pool the day you received the pack into your inventory? Your side question is a joke right? Try it and let me know if you pull a scherzer still on the nats. I'll buy him off you for a good amount. Not talking about that. Talking about if I earn 10 packs one week, and a month later a player is called up and their card is put in the game from a roster update, if I open those 10 packs will they have a chance of pulling that new player or are the cards "assigned" to the pack at the time they're earned. Talking about new live card releases (like Diaz).

I just bought Trout for 70k and change. Now I know not to wait until the playoffs to complete collections. In the Diaz line somewhere around 12.5k.

IMO what killed the interest in this game was giving out too many OP cards too early. Previous years it seemed like innings programs gave you something to shoot for, now it's simply for completing collections, so that you can complete more collections. If that's your thing then yeah this was a great version. My roster of all 99s really hasn't changed much in a while, and I find myself with little desire to keep grinding.

My understanding, as I asked this on another thread, is that basically every card that isn't "Live" (cards on the current roster) is considered either a flashback or legend. Pretty cool as I think I only have 2 live cards in my lineup.

Wow the ASG and HRD cards count as well? Awesome, I don't have to change my lineups much then.
Thank you all for the responses.

I figure "flashback" excludes Live, POTM, Topps, HR Derby and AS Game cards.
I'm assuming things like 2020 Awards Eloy Jimenez count as flashbacks.
What I'm not sure on is the 42s. Can anyone confirm if those count as flashbacks or not?

I feel your pain and I do think it's by design. The very first pitch is almost always right down the middle, and it always floats harmlessly to an OF (usually on the warning track). What I've ended up doing is putting a 99 speed lead off. 2nd and 3rd hitters are contact guys. All my power guys 4th on. Sometimes I'll get a gapper and score the leadoff guy, but most of the time I just win the games in the 2nd or 3rd innings.
I get the not wanting to work the count. I like to play out the games until I'm at a huge stack and can eat up all the 1s and 2s. I mix a lot of player missions into my conquest teams, so quantity is usually better than quality. I'm not working the count with a bronze pitcher and wasting the time. Gold or diamond I might just to get them tired.

Another thing that may be happening is that the game choses a fielder that isn't the closest to the ball. So you're moving the center fielder to the right but the game chose to activate the RF, and you end up taking a step away from the ball. I've had this happen rarely, but it's annoying when it does. I don't know how to fix it other than give an extra split second to confirm which fielder is activated.

Wondering on adding external music files to Sounds of the Show:
A. Is there a limit to how many songs you can import (assuming there is HD space)?
B. Is there a limit to how many songs shuffle in the jukebox?
