I understand this is more investment, but it brings out a little more options which gamers love to have.
Fifa has it and I wondered if the show should have this. If so, who do you think should be on?
There's the usual MLB The Show commentary team.
There should be at least 2 more commentary teams but from within the San Diego Studios team so that fresh content can be released consistently.
I would like that. As Yankees fan, I would rather listen to Michael Kay or John Sterling but the problem is that it would cost a lot of time and money. I don’t know how much commenters FIFA have but I know FIFA has multiple leagues while MLB is only one
From one yankee fan to another. You make a good point.
If I broke the hitting streak record, it should be more excitement not only when I break it, but extending the record. The commentary is super dry with that and all other record recognitions.
In what mode? RTTS?
Franchise, and RTTS.
Oh. I have never broken any records. 🙂
In PowerPros 2008, they were pretty good about that, as I was a hall of famer, breaking EVERY record there was, including the biggest contract ever. Yes, gold gloves also. 😎
PowerPros 2008 was awesome. I remember how well they did that. Good times!
He could work on his line deliveries some more. The "You Can't Have Any Pudding!" HR call felt more authentic in the actual broadcast than it did in the game. Better yet, why doesn't SDS just take the audio from the broadcast (cleaning it up and cutting out any background noise) and use that?
I expect a Sonny Gray curveball in the dirt with perfect input to be transformed into a meatball down the middle which is promptly destroyed by a Tommy Pham Late/Ok swing resulting in a deep line drive to right where my Diamond fielding Richie Ashburn suddenly goes into an "off the wall" animation which ends up causing the ball to bounce off his head and go through the wall at Forbes which can then be replayed at least 45 times, by either player, prior to the next at bat where LS Pujols then proceeds to bunt a high sinker down the third base line which ricochets off the bag into the air long enough for his 0 speed dusty old [censored] to reach 2nd base.
The only way I was able to beat that dreaded hitting streak punch hit situation was to turn off auto save after every game. So I just saved manually (which sucks) but it came in handy when I had a 53 game hitting streak and I came into a game in the bottom of the eighth for that at bat. So I just replayed that day like groundhogs day and now I beat the record lol
Not to worry my friend. Sadly, you are not the only one. I can't beat Mo in the 5th inning showdown and it's been eating at me for days. I'm always super confident when playing. Now all of a sudden I can't beat the elimination round after beating it 5 or 6 times prior.
