It makes no difference. My profile is the only one on my Xbox. My controller is always signed in to it. I routinely can't do anything in the game except press the home button when at the main menu of the game. Nothing else works. It starts a demo game eventually which I can press start to exit out of, but then it takes me right back to the main menu. Game says it can't connect to the servers. Game recognizes no button presses aside from the home/guide button. Once the XB guide opens all buttons on the controller are perfectly fine. It's a game issue. IT's been preventing me from playing regularly since the early access began. Waste of money on my end I guess.

This is why they either should've kept gameplay on seperate servers or kept the game to PS4/5 only.

Or you know, rather than limiting cross play opportunities and expanding to new platforms maybe our precious friends here at SDS could have been prepared for an influx of new users and invested in new servers and increased capacity to be prepared for the launch of their game?

This is so typical of every game publisher/developer at this point. Launches are all a disaster & they just take our money and ignore us. It's a joke. At least other companies acknowledge it and compensate players, here we just get ignored.

Same here. Constant disconnects. Constant errors. Constant freezes. This game is pretty much unplayable almost always.

Are you suspending and resuming the game by chance? Try force closing it, then relaunching to see if that fixes your issue.

Any chance on addressing the issue some of us on XB have without being able to "press any button to enter" the game and after the demo game starts due to inactivity we can press start to exit the demo which takes us to the main menu which again is completely unresponsive and saying it can't connect to the servers? I mean... we've paid for early access for a game I could have gotten for free from GamePass and I can't even play it and you guys won't even address it.

I have the same exact issue and I’m not sure what to do because I have contacted Xbox and sds services suck so they never respond. Have you been able to find anything? It was weird yesterday because I got the more expensive version and it worked for one moment then I turned off my Xbox and it’s stopped working

No solutions here. It just seems to come and go. I haven't had an issue since my post here, right up until tonight. Same [censored] problem now. Can't press any button to enter. Can exit the demo game back to the main menu where everything is unresponsive again with the error it can't connect. There's a serious issue here with this game, and the fact that nobody has an answer for it is very discouraging. I've had about enough.

Series X here. Issue seems resolved this morning. I did nothing yesterday. This is strange.

Yesterday; game worked fine. This morning I went to launch it and the "press any button to enter" screen comes up. However the game won't acknowledge my button press to play. It just sits... then eventually starts a demo game. I can press start to interrupt that. Then I end up at the main menu screen where the game says it can't currently connect to the server and my controller is unresponsive. If I press the Xbox guide button the guide opens. My controller works just fine.

This morning I deleted all my game data, reinstalled the game from scratch and it worked fine. Came back to play this evening and I've got the same issue again.

Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions? Or should I just pack it in and get a refund.
