We have a Discord. We also use the site for certain functions as well but the Discord is where most of the daily communications take place including looking for a game.

With that same token, if your opponent is simply spamming fb you should be crushing the ball

I think that should have been worked on before mentioning it. Hahahaha happy it’s release day though

Auto aim? I don’t think that’ll ever happen. If it were to happen I would hope it would only be on casual mode

If they take leagues out then I’ll just have to do it the old fashioned way. It’ll be a pain, but it can get done. With that said I hope SDS is lurking around and sees that there is a portion of the community that does not always want to play DD for competition, or online rated. We like our small groups within the community.

And still no mention of leagues or online franchise.... that’s disappointing

Played in a 3 leagues in 20. Two of them finished. Find a core group of guys and make it happen

@sean_87__PSN . I like having discussions when the parties involved don’t agree. The world is too big and everyone has different opinions. It would be boring if all agreed on everything.

I don’t remember what game allowed us to play 2 v 2, but i know there was one game in the 2000’s that did. It is possible to do that as tech has advanced. But would sds want to?

Everything can be represented with numbers. At what percentage does said player have these ups and downs? How often do they go through these? All this can be represented with percentages. I’m just not sure you could properly make this game realistic without a true physics engine. For example, they still pull the 1st baseman off the bag with a liner hit to right field because they can’t properly represent velocity, time, and distance.

That would be interesting programming. But my issue is that baseball doesn’t always go by the numbers. Hell in all sports, things happen that numbers and percentages can’t explain. Perfect example is Joc Pederson bunting the other day. Unexpected. No numbers for that.

Of course, players go on streaks, positive and negative. I never said that shouldn’t be represented in the game. I fully agree that streaks should be accounted for in the programming.

So If the game only allows players to bat a specific number bc of their lifetime stat, how would we have these streaks? Better question, what programming would represent this ?
