Love playing that game. I’ll step off as many times as you take a lead. Or I’ll just hold the ball for different amount of times with the pitcher. Love that game even more. Then there is also the slide step. So many options to pick from!!!

A baseball game cannot be grounded in reality and be a simulation baseball game. Correct me if I am wrong, a more “simulation” game would only allow for cards to perform as their previous stats. Stats are where the creators get their attributes. An attribute of 40 power shouldn’t allow cards to hit a ton of hrs. But irl Baseball players have ups and downs in their careers. Their attributes can change dramatically from one year to the next. Example- Jose Bautista played above his stats when he hit 50 hrs in 2010. Before that he never hit more than 16 hrs. User input with the meters and batters eye allow that to occur.

I don’t remember what game allowed us to play 2 v 2, but i know there was one game in the 2000’s that did. It is possible to do that as tech has advanced. But would sds want to?

If they take leagues out then I’ll just have to do it the old fashioned way. It’ll be a pain, but it can get done. With that said I hope SDS is lurking around and sees that there is a portion of the community that does not always want to play DD for competition, or online rated. We like our small groups within the community.
