This is by far the most buggy game SDS has ever put out. From frame rate issues, to crazy non prompted slides, crazy animation glitches, audio bugs, overheating consoles, and now freezing. We all paid close to or over $100 for the game, and it's been never ending. This needs addressed immediately. It's unacceptable to have to wait until the next game update to fix this issue. I think we as consumers could understand if it was a few minor (nor game ruining) bugs and glitches, but these are major problems that never stop. It's like SDS addressed something, and then something new pops up and then we're all forced to wait while it's "being investigated" and hope for a hot patch that never comes ultimately waiting for the next update or the one after that. This is getting ridiculous SDS.

Try turning down your pitch control and pitch consistency to 0 on legend. I know it sounds extreme, but I get realistic stats using this method, especially realistic walk numbers. It forces you to really work the edges and sometimes your guy will miss and get hammered. But for the guys who have high control ratings, you'll still be able to dominate at times. I've thrown a no hitter on this setting, and I've also given up 10 plus runs on multiple occasions (I play out every game and was into my 3rd season last year in 24 with the reds, so pretty large sample size) give it a try, you might like it.

Just had it happen to me in Franchise mode. It happened after I went into my bullpen and warmed up two relievers. After I backed out to resume playing it just froze. I mean it didn't freeze in a literal sense, but it wouldn't allow me to do anything. No button would do anything.

@dodgers19k88_MLBTS I disagree. I think start now is very useful and fun in other games.

@Real-bulldops_XBL I just turned 38 in March and I'm still hitting. Playing on legend batting with fastball and offspeed pitch speeds at 7 using the stride/timing mechanism. I still strike out a lot, but I have my share of good games as well. Just depends on the pitcher. Still a sucker for a good slider.
